I also know what the badge means to those players who come through, and if I have an obsession, it is with those who give absolutely everything they have to Manchester United and the fans.
------------------------
Part of that should be acting professionally as a representative of the club and not putting stuff like this out there and attracting this kind of attention.

Yes, I have an interest in the club’s academy. It is an integral part of the very fabric of United - it defines the club and sets it apart.

Yeah do what. I follow the academy aswell. However I know when a player isn’t good enough or needs to be rid from the club. Lingard falls into both them categories imo

What? Attracting the kind of attention that contributes to making the club an absolute mint in commercial revenue?

I wonder how many of the great enraged rabble gave two shiny shhittts about what giggs got up to? Or Rooney?

No one really cares about what these players are up to UNLESS they dislike the player. Says more about the fan than the player.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Some people seem more aggrieved about silly dances than they do about philandering, drink driving, missing training or downing tools.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
As per usual people rather than criticising the individual have to try and compare.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I have no reason to criticize him.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah bet you would if he was some foreign player we had bought. You have some fascination with players that come through the academy
----------------------------------------------------------------------
what a weird comment!

Yeah because Rosso has such a problem with foreigners so he moved to Portugal
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Who said he had a problem with foreigners? Talking about completely twisting a comment

I don’t like to talk about it, Mike.

It's embarrassing for the club to have someone that represents them as a player of the club acting like this on social media. He represents the club so he needs to be professional. It's just a matter of respect.

That's who brought up having a problem with foreigners.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No it isn’t you idiot. I am using an example that if it was a foreign player being bought he would have a different stance to a player brought through the academy. You know you can have foreign lads in the academy don’t you?

Lingard may be a bit of a child on social media, and whether his talent is at the level needed for United is another point valid of debate. However, I don’t think Lingard can ever be legitimately criticised as a representative of Manchester United.

It’s funny that Manc Python is actually someone that uses the term snow flake. Then acts just like one because of some young lads piiiiissing about on social media.

A snowflake is someone who gets offended easily. I am not offended I just think the guys is an utter prickk who needs to be got rid of due to his antics off the pitch and performances on it

He is representing Manchester as a player to begin with but even doubly so considering he's from the academy. He has an obligation in my opinion to not do things that risk embarrassing either himself or by extension his club out of respect for his club. If I was in his shoes, that's how I would act because it's about being respectful and professional. I don't understand how he's as weird and immature as he is but if he is, then he needs to this kind of thing privately and not bring his own public image and the club's into it. It's not a catastrophic, omg Man Utd are going to go under kind of deal, but it's a relatively smaller thing that can be easily corrected.

This ended up like a party political debate

“Do you think your party acted disgracefully and should be ashamed of itself”

“Ah yeah, but no because the last party was much worse and did worse things and stuff”

It’s also someone that is overly emotional and unable to deal with opposing opinions. Which is a bracket you certainly fall in to.

Wahl, Lukaku trying to play football embarrasses the club far more than Lingard on social media. I’m not even gonna bother mentioning how Mourinho acted.

Darren is an emotional wreck to be fair. Just falls apart and starts abusing people. Well known for it.

If you think that, then fair enough. I just think it's unprofessional and shouldn't be done.
