I think Redders did a brilliant job with us when you think about the stress factor off who he was working under!..
Like about all we've had for the last x-amount off years he wasn't properly backed or given much off a chance, but that before Bielsa was the norm at this club, even though some ain't to sure if Bielsa's getting the backing he really wants!..
Did a very decent job for us and looked promising as coach until his partnership with Thompson was broken up. U23's is his gig. I wish him the best of luck.
A nice man.spoke to him in Waterstones in Leeds of all places and mentioned that my dad used to play cricket with his dad.spoke highly of the club. He certainly played a big part in the development of some promising young players and should do well in that role at Newcastle.
