It was great to see from a neutral POV. The first leg was IMO a massive massive fluke by Barca. Some people called it tactical, winners mentality etc but honestly it was just a pure fluke it ended 3-0 so it was great to see the far better team over the two legs go through in the end

I'm sure it also made the victory all the more sweety that it unfolded like that. On another day both those performances could've very easily seen Pool go through something silly like 6-1 on aggregate

Also it's such a shame the final was a major let down (not from a Liverpool POV obviously).

So much drama leading up to it in the quarters and semis and even the rounds before those it could've and should've gone down as possibly the most exciting CL of all time but the final was incredibly flat. So much so it'll sit in there as a more typical year when overall it was anything but.

Ok in your long footballing memory you pull out “all Italian” Don’t worry, this OP is on the thrashing of Barca so you can actually talk about a great game.

I won’t forget the Barca players walking round in a daze at Anfield, great testament to Liverpool players and fans who really put the pressure on.

I was disappointed when I heard Spurs were in the final, I had a feeling they would set out to stop us playing and they’ve shown they can go toe to toe physically with Liverpool. They just forgot what they were going to do to score.

Ajax v Liverpool would have been a far better game to watch IMO.

That daze is precisely what Arteta was talking about.. before they knew what was happening they were 4 down (5 in Artetas case) its amazing on nights like that. Facking love it
