The only crumb of comfort is we’re clearly splashing some serious budo this summer, that would be over £8 million on 2 players. I’d rather we spent another 3M and got King Julien.

Aberdeen have been pretty open at valuing McKenna near to £10m.

I wonder if John Hartson is busy writing today’s article at how embarrassing Celtics offer is.

Around half his valuation and £1.5m or so less than Aberdeen supposedly rejected from Villa a year ago.

Do they think McKenna is worth less this season now he’s had an extra season of domestic and international experience?

all this tells me is that tierney is offski.

if we are spending its because it is well and truly covered.

mckenna is a horse, no more, no less.

if this is the quality we are after then we are well and truly screwed.

I think Tierney is off too. He’s apparently agreed personal terms already

8m on what though, one is a project and that is exactly what Turnball is, the other is not good enough, we still have done fvck all about the RB position and it looks like we will need to strengthen the LB position and you just know they will punt on O'Donnell. I am seriously peeved with the direction we are heading

McKenna is strong in the tackle. Good in the air. He's quick and can pass the ball. He attacks the ball well at set pieces and won't be bullied. He's 22 and will continue to improve.

He would be a great signing.

We’ll hold out for close to £30 million for him but i think we’ll get between 20-25 up front.

Mags said yesterday he’s due in for a medical as well so there’s clearly a lot more to it than just an interest.

He most definitely can’t pass a ball.

He hoofs it down the channel like McMannus used to flucking do every week.

against decent strikers such as edouard and morelos all he does is fall on them.

Nah we won’t go over £5 million for him.

Can’t believe Aberdeen want £10 million

Murder mate.

Ffs remember the state of him in Kazakhstan.

I'm surprised at Tierney. I honestly thought he would be with us for years. It can't be just down to money, we would have made him a millionaire, albeit a few less millions than he will get from Arsenal.

Even if he wants to play on a bigger stage I thought he would hang on for 2 more seasons.

No matter what we think about Arsenal, it’s some move for him financially and career wise.

He’ll go on to be one of the best in the world down there.

See every time I see McKenna I rate him. And I'm not alone. That's football I suppose.

same irvine, but even then as a club we should be saying no.

he has a 4 year deal and loves celtic so unless he is really pushing for a move then we shouldnt entertain it.

we are though because money money money money money money money

Are you his fookin agent? 😂😂😂

McKenna plays Morelos better than any other CB in Scotland including ours. He doesn't do so well against Eduard but Eddie will go on to play at a higher level than either of them.

I think KT wants to move.

There was talk that KT and McGregor where less than impressed with NL getting the job 🤔

McGregor does want to go but Celtic are reluctant on him.

I’d rather lose him than KT if given the choice.

If we do sell KT then the Rosenberg left back must be our first priority, absolutely must!!
