Some people said the same about Deli Ali Algarve. Spurs have a few young players coming through in to the first team
I think regarding selling off our players, this quote from AR says it all:
“Initially when I was looking to enter football I was looking at clubs in Italy or France or Spain, a mid-table club where I could develop players and eventually sell them”
Disappointed if he goes, but it remains where we are as a club still. If he’s loaned back I’d be okay with it. Suspect he & family members will be wary of it, he makes errors or doesn’t perform & he might start getting hostility because he went there. Can’t blame the lad, top 6 club & another top manager to work with.
But if £8m is true upfront, with the £10m James money we didn’t spend, we’ve suddenly got cash for experienced & proven replacements ๐คจ๐คจ๐๐๐๐ฝ

The £10m for James was only if we got promoted
Could always dip into Simon’s War chest.
"Germany, the club failed in January and have to sell it seems.
Sell the over rated KP
Keep the special talent. Selling a special talent on the cheap drains the fans or it should."
Promotion, remember that word you like throwing around?..
Take it, its yours!..
I'm not to sure if you saw anything off the season killing game that kept us where we now are, but if you've copied it go sit in a little corner and watch it as many times as no doubt Bielsa will have!..
I think he knows exactly where that game ended, and it wasn't Philips fault, mind, there were a few players that did the best they could, but, the ones that let us down were the ones that made the biggest mistakes until now in their whole lives!..
And one unforgivable red card!..
The players,(team!)had it in their hands and threw it away, and by team I mean every man on that pitch, its just that one or two were more to blame than others, but some here are to naive to let that sink in!..

I know. Wasn’t really intended as a serious comment.
No justification for selling him at all, just another wonderkid to leave whilst we struggle with quality.
Why can't we keep one of these talented youngsters and also add to the team? We might get over line for once.
Does make me wonder what these talks with the Qataris was all about?
If about investing in the club as mooted, then surely we’d be financially capable of breaking the scourge of selling our best players & adding to the squad.
Another summertime smokescreen maybe? Hope pleasant surprises are due shortly ๐๐ฝ๐๐ฝ
The sad fact is that developing promising young players at this level is a fool's game. They will do well and then better clubs will look to take them. We take the money for Clarke, invest it into signing Costa, White, and another winger and get promoted. Then we can develop young stars to our heart's content.
Germany, KP was on the bench for the first season defining game, clearly Bielsa thought Forshaw was the better option.
KP has probably peaked, Jack Clarke hasn’t even started.
On the topic I wouldn’t sell Shackleton either.
If KP has peaked then no one in prem will want him then. Great news for us ๐๐ฝ๐๐ฝ
Phillips hasn’t peaked. Just wait until he has real quality around him.
Shackleton could be key this year, however I think he needs to be given a position to stick to.
I agree about Shackleton Aza
Got a feeling central midfield
Will be much better than KP too
Bielsa made a massive mistake under using Shackleton.
Think he can play in a few positions which probably won’t help his career
£8 million for Clarke in todays market is a disgrace.
We can’t keep our best players in the championship but at least get a fee that we can use to get promotion.
£8 million brings a few useless loan players Baker Blackman Brown etc
It’s false economy.
Germany, you think £8 million brings what ?
Peanuts, rather like your brain
£8m for a kid who started 4 games is pretty good money.
If he makes good we get another £5.5m.
I’d prefer to keep him but if the books need balancing they need balancing.

And you wonder why people filter you.
Promotion, shows what a dimwit you are with your anti Leeds crap and than insults!..
Keep it up good man, just shows people what a crap waffler you really are!.
If my brain is peanuts I'd hate to think what stuff you have in yours!..
Lubo, I won't filter him, I'll just let him play his sad game and let others see him for what he is!..
A useful comparative is Dan James.
Want to Moan U for £15m.
Compare his performances last season to Jack's.
Given that, how much should we expect?
Only leaving this week if they give him time off from training!
