Momentous week

Had a good debate with Ginger on Saturday about the lack of forward or succession planning. We are no nearer with a quality rb and it looks like we now need a quality lb. I expect a narrative to develop telling us what a great lb Hayes is and that Ralston is the next big thing ☹ Its shocking that after a treble treble and with 9 in a row in the offing that we are feeling a sense of oh fvck! This could be a long transfer window 🙄

I don’t think we’ll even be that naive to not get a LB or RB in eventually, my concern is whether they’ll get it in before it’s needed.

If we get a RB and CB of quality in over the next week then it will look a little better but I really doubt it’ll be done before it’s too late.

Chat about Max Lowe as a potential replacement, not impressed if that’s the standard of replacement.

Rosenberg LB should be target numero Uno.

Celtic fans would love that wee guy. Would make losing KT almost bearable

Aye he’s a cracking wee player so it would soften the blow. He’s available for around 2-3 million as well.

i dont watch enouth norwegian football to know if he is any good tbh.

theres a norwegian celtic fan who does a celtic podcast though and he says he has no idea why we want him?

It`s all very underwhelming and sadly typical. I am too long in the tooth to let stuff in football affect my day, but I have said it a few times. This is typical Celtic. From a position of strength, to shoot ourselves in the foot.

The weird thing is, there have been different boards involved in the past. It seems like a mindset.

I am aware, that it`s early yet, but past experience says we will, as a minimum, make very hard work of things.

btw, I am not looking for Celtic to break the bank, just manage the squad sensibly.

JFK, can only go by what I’ve seen of him and he’s a good wee player. Comfortable on the ball, gets up and down the park and always kept Forrest relatively quiet.

Hard to argue with any of that to be honest.

The thing is, if we do sell KT then that’ll be £55-£60 million in player sales in 12 months. Not including the £13 million we made from Rodgers departure or the Rugby final held at Celtic park.

Dembele & Henderson the two main young boys on the flight out today. Would be good to see both get some more game time as I think they’ll have a lot to offer.

Excited to see Shved in a pre season game too.

Id be gutted if KT left.

Dont get why everybody is fine with him leaving but was so annoyed about Rodgers leaving..

If he leaves the club, 2 seasons from becoming a club legend, writing his name in the history books for money (Lets be honest, Arsenal aint winning anything anytime soon) Hes a fecking mercenary and i hope the wee cant breaks his legs.

One man club my baws

KT’s given us 4 and a half great years, not to mention he’s already had two broken legs in that time.

Only idiots would begrudge him a move to the top level.

Brendan gave us 2 and a half great years, yet everybody grudged him a move to further his career.

Tierney is moving for money, much worse in my opinion.

But hes cellic minded, is he fook, if he wis hed stay.

Rodgers had tried to move and take our players and whole coaching set up with him.

KT wouldn’t be moving for money, although it would be a plus for him, he’s moving to progress as a player.

Celtic minded he’s reached his ceiling at Celtic, we all know that.

7 in a row.

I expected him not to try be a snake and tell players to stay for 6 months then leave with him.

I expected him to see out the end of the season.

I expected him not to leave 24 hours before Hearts away and try to take our whole coaching department.

It really is that simple.

thank god the mckenna bid is nonsense man

Lets be honest..

Any of us could have took over from Rodgers and won the treble.
