So, now you have made this deal, do you now agree with everyone else that there were alternatives to Moyes, Klopp being one of them.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I never said there weren't alternatives. Moyes was appointed because of SAFs support for him.

LVG and Jose were the best options at the time

..........

In your opinion. Not in mine. Jose was never a good option.

No I am not going to list better ones. It has already been done for you.

Yep. All opinions.

Indeed all opinions.

However, evidence of the last six years of this scatter-gun approach to transfers, managers and wage construction suggest that the one common denominator in it all is a below par performer.

I don't blame Ed for backing each manager on their targets. DOnt see why anyone else would, but hey go.

All opinions

posted on 25/6/19

No one is blaming Ed for backing each manger with his specific targets.

Why would you bring that up?

posted on 25/6/19

Just making the point that we cant blame Ed for a scatter gun approach to signings when he has just pursued the managers targets.

posted on 25/6/19

This time last year he didn't pursue his managers targets

posted on 25/6/19

You cant possibly know that.

But feel free to provide factua evidence Ed doidnt pursue them.

...........................

Are all his signings the managers targets? LVG said Di Maria wasn't, for example.

And is signings the only thing I have accused Ed of a scatter-gun approach to. No, is the answer to that.

Only an idiot would continually champion a person who is quite clearly unsuited to his role as ed is

Unfortunately RDD's idiocy is apparently shared with the people that matter most

No. He said Di Maria was on a list of targets. Just not top of the list.

Moyes was backed by SAF. The other 2 were the best options at the time.

Nope. The fact we didnt get a CB doesnt mean Ed didn't try.

RDD

What would you blame Ed for, considering our demise over the last six years.

Letting SAF decide his replacement. Start of a slippery slope sadly.
