I’ve repeatedly explained to you the logic of this and given you fact after fact.

Instead of acknowledging that there might just be a reason why no government in the world thinks this is a good idea and listening to someone who has researched it quite a lot, you entrench yourself in a flawed view and then get upset when I show a little frustration at your refusal to take anything on board.

I’ve hit a few pedestrians but it was their fault for stepping out into a busy toad or trying to cross the road in between cars in the traffic. Most apologised for being so foolish. We have pedestrian crossings for a reason

The anger on here is the same anger I see in car drivers faces daily. Get a bike you angry people it makes you happy and relieves stress

Even if you don’t have it in you to publicly acknowledge the flaws in your view, perhaps privately you can research this and open your mind.

It’s good for people to educate themselves about cycling as it leads to less anger about them.

In Holmfirth at the weekend on the bike and had three cars of lads mocking. He declined the offer of beating my time up Holme Moss for £20. Sit in your car and get fat and miserable.

Drive a car and ride a bike.....look silly in Lycra.

Oh look. The guy who joined the thread simply to abuse me brings up mental health, all whilst trying to make this my fault.

It’s been a decent debate, gone on for a while and become a little fractious but nothing too bad. You turn up and act appallingly as usual. Disgraceful.

If I’m such an annoyance to you, filter me and never post messages to me again. It’s called behaving like an adult.

Imagine choosing to walk into a room, shouting abuse at someone and mocking them using mental health, then telling everyone else that it’s that persons fault you’re behaving in that way.

These guys have spent too long on forums and forgotten how to behave normally. It’s so bizarre.

Cycling is good for both mental and physical health

Had to drive into the office today.

Wow. The standard of driving is appalling. People literally racing each other just to get one or two cars ahead, more drivers running red lights than I could count, and so many people on their phones.

Lawless roads - no wonder thousands die every year.

And people are worried about cyclists?
