That rancid hag Widdacombe comparing the British to slaves (Britain invented slavery)
———

She also referenced colonies revolting against Empires and the peasants revolting against the feudal barons so the reasonable person would look at the comment in its entirety instead of hearing the word ‘slave’ and jumping up and down.

She referenced multiple examples of the oppressed revolting on the oppressors. If people want to isolate slavery then their only objective is to be intentionally offended.

As to slavery being invented in Britain. Care to explain?

Are you seriously defending that senile old mess?

What an embarrassment to our country.

Oh yes, The British invented concentration camps too. Such a proud History we have.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The history of slavery dates back to at least the start of the agricultural revolution roughly 12,000 years ago. It has been documented in Babylonian texts and myriad other ancient documents predating the existence of a British family of nations.

Britain did not invent slavery.

The first use of concentration or internment camps was probably in the early 19th century. They were certainly used by the Spanish military in Cuba during the Ten Years' War in the 1860s, and similar camps were used by the United States during the Philippine–American War, all of which predates their first use by the British in the Second Boer War.

Britain did not invent concentration camps.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Britain has always been a revolting racist Hell Hole, responsible for the vast majority of the problems we have in the world today.

And I'm glad you brought this one up actually, because it's a good example of the point I'm trying to make.

What platform is it do you think is being given to Tommy Robinson? The bloke has been banned from pretty much every mainstream social media outlet there is, and still his popularity continues to actually grow.

Do you not wonder why that is? It's because the propaganda he puts out there feeds off of it all. All he ever talks about nowadays is the authorities trying to silence him because they are too scared of "the truth" or whwhatever, and people lap it up because it is going unchallenged on whatever channels he is getting it out there.

You want to silence him? Put him out there. Have him on Question Time, put him on whatever Sunday morning debate show the BBC are running nowadays. His views will be challenged and ridiculed in front of an entire nation.

It actually astounds me that in this technological day and age people genuinely think the best way of silencing someone is to "take away their platform". Honestly...
