Wan Bissaka in 1 season
- More tackles than ANY defender in Europe's top five leagues (that includes Van Djik & Robertson btw)
As a bpl full back he also had:
- No.1 for most clearances
- No.1 for most tackles won
- No.1 for the highest tackle % rate
- No.1 for the most take-ons completed
- No.1 for the most interceptions made
So yeah, pretty sure he's achieved more in 1 season than Perez has...
But now that's comfortably cleared up, let's not change the topic. The market is bonkers if he's worth £30m, he's a £10m player tops
Perez can play. Good signing imo.

Yeh, I think he is fairly decent. I don't think that the Newcastle fans will be happy at the news.
It’s £16m cash apparently with potential of up to £30m with all add ons. Presumably those add ons include Perez scoring a goal before April
Will be a decent second option to Vardy from the bench. Or coming in on the flank
What's up with Newcastle selling or possibly selling their better players
With their new owners I would have thought they'd be splashing the cash

Scored as many as Firmino and Lukaku (12) which gives some perspective.
He's got balance, acceleration and is unpredictable. Will do well under Rodgers imo and gives Leicester a different option and one that is better than Iheanacho.

His performances for Palace soon caught the eye, however, and he finished last season as their player of the year and with some hugely impressive statistics to his name, including making more tackles than any other defender in Europe’s elite leagues.
https://www.theguardian.com/football/2019/jun/29/manchester-united-complete-45m-signing-of-aaron-wan-bissaka
Another article from March:
"He has made more successful tackles - where possession of the ball is regained or the ball goes out of play - than any other player in the top five European leagues this season, with 71. Every other player who ranks anywhere near him is a central midfielder, with his closest-challenging full-back Leicester's Ricardo Pereira."

Perez scored 12 premier league goals last season.
You have just given Rashford 200 grand a week, who scored 10.
Not sure the Perez signing is any kind of benchmark for how crazy the transfer market has become.
Perez is a decent little player easily worth 20m so 30m aint that bad in this market. You get a shift out of him even if hes not scoring too hes making runs creating space or w.e. Pretty sure a lot of top Spanish clubs were linked at one point or other over the years too think he said himself he chose newcastle over offers from RM n Barca.
How come AWB price is coming down?
If Perez is a decent striker and if he was English Utd would have offered £70m for him.

You brought the Liverpool players up when the simple fact of the matter is that playing for place he’s going to have to make more tackles than players playing for teams challenging for the league because his team are going to be under more pressure.
As pointed out above Perez out scored Rashford and scored the same as Lukaku & Firmino whilst playing for Newcastle. He’s a good player who should only get better playing for a better team with better players round him.
