Klich has a year to run but it was reported we have an automatic year extension should we choose to use it.

Roofe been trying to get contract sorted since last October, he’s in his last year now.

We are going to lose him for nothing if we’re not careful.

As length of contract reduces does the control the player increase. I am a big fan of Kemar and feel neither the club nor the supporters properly value the guy.
Was reading an article a few days ago on players good enough to play in the premier league, I cannot find it now and forgot to bookmark it, KP, PJ and Roofe were all on that list.

As for Klich, two years is too short. We need him tied up, lots on here didn't rate him coming into last year, but 50 appearances plus internationals, the guy's fantastic.

Forced his hand and rightly so.

Puts us in the driving seat either way. Glad we didn’t leave it until he only has 12 months left.

Roofe I think will go on a free transfer unless we go up. It would be silly for him on a personal level to sign a new deal with Leeds now.

Is it fo push up his price? Worrying I think.

I'd love Phillips to stay, he was key to the side last year.

But we have to be realistic.

If we cant tie him down we cant risk losing him for a fraction of his current worth.

Sell KP and try to get rid of Forshaw
Use the £ to make us a better team.

Don’t disagree, thought klich was excellent last year... was banging on that we needed him and roofe tied down last year. Buying Bamford... dictated roofe’s wage demands... and the negotiations were out on hold for him and a few others back in October.

Klich to me is one of those players you dont really think about too much, ie he is just there playing a consistent game week in and out.

But you dread losing him cause he is just so functional.

If we are being offered £20m for KP then we should take it. If a suitable offer to improve his contract is made and he stays I'd be happy but £20m used wisely is a better option.

KP is not a £20m player. Vast improvements but still prone to making unforced errors.

If Bielsa is the reason for his improvement who's to say MB can't work his magic on another player but for less expenditure?

Interesting few weeks ahead......

I am convinced the next big talent to come through the ranks will be Bogusz, he is 17 and making our bench and the Polish U20 squad, having Klich there as a mentor will do no harm.

I have not seen Bogusz live but everyone speaks very highly of him and I think we will see him in the squad regularly this season.
