The quality is much better than it used to be apart from the goalies and some matches i watched were good, Brazil, USA, Holland and even Scotland with their hard luck story.

I watched a bit yesterday.
Twice usa were through on goal... 30 seconds later still going through on goal. Then everyone stops and looks around unsure what to do
It's fvckin terrible

Must be like that with Morelos and wondering if he’ll shoot or fall down clutching his face
And so it begins. Welcome back real football

It's worse when Griffiths takes it to the line then sniffs it

I thought some of the goalies were terrific. The Chile keeper was outstanding.

Not even swapping jerseys at full time
I know you keep using it as a negative comparison but I would watch monkey tennis.
On the technical ability side, think how much that has changed in the men's game with generations of elite coaching. The women's game is getting professional players and coaching now but will take a few generations for that to filter through.
Like anything if it gets more kids into sport and more women involved in all for it
Women shouldn’t play football. Their wombs might fall out.

Exactly. It’s all ‘oh equal rights’ until a bear comes in and starts eating the crowd.

As I have said many times young kids getting involved in sport is great
But they do talk about it as if it’s good
It’s fookin $hite schoolboys bear them it’s fookin $hite plus var(erm)

Yeah but when are you setting up the monkey tennis?
It does sound like the coverage is over the top for the level on display but they do need to catch up and are obviously going to be decade's behind.
At least they play 90 minutes.
I think it's a disgrace that women are paid the same in tennis for playing only on average two thirds of the sets men do.
It's the most blatant example of sexism in sport yet heralded as a triumph of equality. If women tennis players want paid the same then play 5 sets.
One thing you can't really deny though is the women's game in tennis is good. Before fed and Nadal came along. Graf, seles, hingis were bigger draws than the men.

I don't own a women's team so I'm not sure I'm in a position to do so....
30 Years since Souness signed Mo Johnstone, Dundee UTD could be trail blazers and sign the first wummens player for a mens club

Did Perugia not sign a woman at some point in recent history?
Again though, I'm not comparing men and women's football. I think it's wrong to do so. I think the Chilean keeper had a very good tournament and stood out, particularly against the American's where she helped keep the score down. It was a very good performance against very good female players. It doesn't mean she is the equivalent of a man, and nor would I make that claim.
I think that’s a good point actually. They should probably tweak the name a little to make that distinction.
Girlball. Or “football”.

I wonder if their curtains slap together when they run.
And if so does it sound like when you run with flip flops on?
