Is Pakistan next to Afghanistan?

What major event was held in Pakistan in the last five or six years to vouch for the security and safety of the players and fans of other nations?

More attack’s and stabbing in London as well but still England allowed to hold? Why?

Pakistan is a poor country and don’t get World Cup and right decision to go for India because we are leading world in business now and BCCI is cricket. If no BCCI drinker would end. England and Aussy follow India only.

Few quality fast bowlers are emerging, competitiveness between batsman and bowling is all time low and quality of international cricket has gone down sharply.

This is actually a good point, but it is ruined by the rest of your post.

Bigger problem for Cricket now is not BCCI or other countries. The biggest problem is other team like English one have many player that not English but then get to semi final and final of World cup and big tounementss this is not fair for all other teams

No more battles like lillee vs Richards,Imran vs gavaskar,Akram vs tendulkar, ambrose vs Australia, McGrath vs lara, the list is very lengthy. Time to tell BCCI this is not your daddy’s game, take their hosting rights, lessen size of bats, have bowler friendly tracks and let the war begin.Remember the way windies bowlers responded to tony Greg berating comments against them in 75.This is not happening unless it become mans’ game. This is not happening unless BCCI is shown the door

You realize 20\20 cricket started in England??
Also hey have just introduced the 100 ball game??

But yeah - it's the BCCI's fault

T20 cricket started in England in 2003.

I love T20 cricket, especially the World Cups, only thing I don’t like is domestic leagues being prioritised over the International game, but unfortunately where money is involved, this nonsense always happens.

The wider problem is this assumption that all viewers wants are sixes and mountains of runs. Maybe the ICC is run only by batsmen, maybe Boards like the BCCI/ECB get involved, regardless it means far less of a balance between bat and ball.

Finally with players playing so much T20 wickets on flat tracks, they tend to have a problem with patience and technique in challenging conditions. Bowlers seem to have given up and most are happy to bowl cutters and slow bouncers. Basically what we have nowadays are basically 80% of the bowlers bowling like Mark Ealham and Chris Harris.

So whilst the ICC is happy with lots of six hitting to give an illusion that standards are improving, the standards are actually getting worse for both bat and ball and this will eventually lead to apathy with fans that enjoyed real cricket and all we will end up with is baseball fans. Maybe this is the endgame.

Fair pint but money talks.

There are far more 20\20 fans that cricketing purists. This is all over he world. The 20\20 leagues attract more crowds and view figures.

County Cricket was struggling financially for years, their 20\20 games keeps the money rolling in.

Like everything else in this world....it follows the money

Agree that commercial aspect should be given importance but not at expense of quality. Players giving more importance to t-20 league than national commitment is BIG worry since unlike football, viewership of contest between is/will be far more than t-20 leagues.

Reality is very different from perception existing today. Tourist Industry has grown alarmingly over the last few yrs with massive influx of tourist.

Racist comments will be deleted I understand subject is controversial but do not be racist ,enjoy the banter

Start a controversial topic

Bring in very issues like touring Pak and make it into a joke

Pretend to have very poor English when in fact your English is much better than that

Finally, delete comments and complain about racism

Whole thread is pretty poor, if you want to wind people up, at least don't delete comments

If you actually watched "The Verdict", Tymal Mills talked very seriously about how steps were being made to get more people to play in Pakistan and what efforts are being made to give confidence to players about their safety.

This is actually a really serious issue, you've turned it into a joke, but thanks for the "banter"
