The franchise was one of the original clubs that played in the United Soccer Association, one of the two precursors to the NASL, in 1967. That year overseas clubs played in U.S. cities as American teams. The team that played as the Dallas Tornado were Dundee United of the Scottish Football League.

Usually i might agree that Tuesday are pash but Rangers are back in action so not today.

As for Dundee United, hope you have an enjoyable season and lose in the play-off final on penalties.

When I was at Disney years ago I ate some candy floss and right in the middle of the Indiana Jones thing I had to run like f@ck to splatter blue @rse juice all over the nearest toilet.

What do you do if there is no where to go? It was something I was thinking about when running home from Haymarket on Sunday. Genuinely thought I was going to run out of time and was looking for bushes and stuff.

I forgot to comment on this so didn't check the comments

Declan, back in the 60s the American League was weird and unpopular, so they would invite moderately successful European sides to come across in the summer and 'guest' as their teams for a few games to increase the profile.

At that point United had beat Barcelona home and away (not sure we've ever mentioned this before?) and defeated Juventus at Tannadice before being knocked out in Turin. Therefore our friends in Dallas invited us over to play as them.

The chairman was looking for further ways to promote the team and his wife suggested we adopt the tangerine kits that Dallas played in, so we did, and have worn them ever since.

Why didn't you just go into one of the pubs in the area? Or do you not like to poo in pub toilets?

The only pub would have been Dickens and I'd probably rather shiiiit on my own head than go in there

Without doubt the worst toilet I've ever been in was in Tootsies Orchid Lounge in Nashville.

It was as bad as the toilet in Trainspotting but it didn't even have a door. It just had this f@cking rank shower curtain.

I am pretty sure the toilets in the Taybank in Dunkeld used to be buckets on the wall and no cubicles. Just all open and that's where you had to do a poo.

Mine was red once after I had eaten an entire red velvet cake the day before.

Apparently calls to NHS 24 about bloody poo rocket on February 15th after people think they have something horribly wrong with them, as it's a popular Valentine's Day dessert.
Either that or they really have been up to something on Valentine's Day.
