Did any of his team mates recognise him?
The only other reason that I can think of for Anya to be joining the squad is that we have accepted an offer for Lowe from either Celtic or Aberdeen.
Either that or Cocu isn’t impressed with Fozzy and Bugsy’s unique abilities to play a simple 5 yard pass straight to an opponent đ

Looks like he's been in goal?
All for giving him a go, cant be worse than any of our other left backs defensively and will be better than all going forward
Not overly keen on the rumors of Cavaleiro, dont see him as better than we have and surely Skrtel cant be true, to old in an already aging defence, centre
Cocu is a fan of overlapping fullbacks so maybe Anya will be back in favour.
Neil Ruddock and Kenny Burns would do OK as overlapping full backs Spart.
Overlapping waist bands maybe. None of the women's team have a bigger bust .
Heb will be delighted by the pure Caledonian element of this revived team prospect.
Thanks for the intelligence Vidal.
Hope he’s given a clean slate and chance to earn his (vast) wages.
Are people isuggesting he’s a possible left back, if so why? Have I missed something?
.. didn’t he play RB for Scotland?..
Playing left back is the same as playing right back on the other side of the pitch.

It is if you can use both feet.
still don't understand how anyone who is a pro-footballer (especially ones on £1,000's a week), can get away with only having "one foot"?

All I can say is: ‘’oh dear’’ .
To expand would clearly be wasted.

Well you did say "wasted"!
Who stole the Afro though is it possibly an imposter?
Ye of so little brain. It is now a standard tactic to switch mainly left and right footed players to the opposite side to their traditional positions. As players very rarely cross from the bye line now but tend to cut inside then it is beneficial to have right footed players on the left and vice verse. Besides which it was said tongue in cheek to see if 2W would react but apparently caught more fish.

I guess it depends on the foot. David Beckham had such a good left foot - nobody noticed his right foot. But it is a fact of life that not many can kick equally with either foot.

Beckham's left foot was only there to stop him falling over!
Same as Stanley Matthews, so called "greats" can be one footed. Cocu is Dutch so will expect his players to be able to play virtually every position.
I think Phil the boss has had a look at the wingers in the squad and thought Anya can’t be any worse
Can Gladys Hinton still fit into his Derby shorts?
Spart, I think your ‘standard practice’ may be more relevant further forward. Not full backs. That’s ridiculous.
But hey, you wouldn’t bother with tactics or formations either as they’re overrated.
It’s a simple world in your world, bless.
