From an outside perspective watching him on the pitch he looked like a player who'd had his head turned towards the end of last season.
Some players remain professional even while wanting away, Erikson didn't but hopefully for Spurs the cold shoulder he's received from prospective buyers will ground him
Really not done himself any favours on or off the pitch.
Like Modric, he will have to play for the club who pays him and dust himself off.
As long as he signs a new contract and is committed to play his best he is welcome to stay in fact I hope he does. I don't mind him wanting to leave cannot blame him.
If he wants out do it quickly.
Don’t mind as he’s had 7 great years here stayed professional throughout and become a top player.
Be sad to see him go but we’ll carrying on
How can it be quick when we’ve had no offers for him?

Probably because levy valuation is too high.
£100m with one year left on his contract isn’t happening.

Starting to think he might stay, not becuase he wants to but simply because the clubs he might want to join (RM, Juve, Barca) have other targets/ needs.
I think Eriksen is a good pro and unlikely to "rock the boat" but his plan to test the mkt has back fired on him somewhat. Unless he signs a new deal at Spurs its hard to see how this benefits the club.....
1) He's even more likely to leave for nothing next summer
2) He plays this year with the handbrake on (protecting himself from injury ahead of a big pay day)
3) It hampers our ability to move forward, make signings.
If he refuses to sign a deal I think we'd all rather sell him now get as much as possible & get Lo Celso or Ceballos so we can move forward.
Other than the money (that's down to him & Levy) I really cant think of that many places that would be much more appealing than Spurs. RM is a snakepit and I'm not even sure he starts (same goes for Juve, Barca, Athletico) and all the other top clubs... PSG, Bayern play in Pony leagues where there's no challenge.
Wish we could get a deal done as a rested, motivated Eriksen on a proper contract (without the need of cash for a new signing and the time spent for him to adjust) is probably the best outcome for Spurs. Sadly his public comments (which he didn't need to make) might have cost him
To be honest I am fed up with hearing about both Eriksen and Toby, if they are still both refusing to sign contracts, then both need to go, or at the very least if they are just going to run down their contracts, not be part of the first XI. They are of no use to Spurs as it stands.
maybe the stories of Levy offering him around clubs are true, he didn't do very well though did he
100mil combined with his underwhelming performances last season make it easy to see why nobodys biting yet. However with only a year left Levy will have to take a huge chunk off his transfer fee in a couple of weeks. Any prospective buyers know this and I think he will leave nearer the end of the window (for alot less than Levy wants) as he has all the power on his side.

Mate.... We can't sell them if there aren't any buyers and not playing them while still paying them makes no sense. They are both entitled to act as they are as they are both underpaid vs the mkt. Its a game of Chicken and one which Spurs are likely to lose because of our wage structure.... Sadly its just the way it is. At least they both appear to be being professional about the whole thing, though Eriksen's comments were Ill advised
Looked at eriksen and alli statistically and they didn't seem too bad, but whenever I saw them last year (bar the 3-0 thrashing spurs dished out to chelsea)they looked lethargic and pretty useless on the ball. Not sure if scouts saw that too, Eriksen has never been the quickest, and still has class, but wonder if hes had his few years at the top level, like mata did, and now his legs are just that bit heavier.

Sorry mate, but both only have one more season left on their contracts and then they can walk. So they will eventually go if they don`t sign a contract, and then will have to be replaced, may as well just do it now. If they are not committed to Tottenham, then as I say I am not committed to them, and they are of no use to the club. They either need to put up or shut up.

Any scout that saw him take a corner might well be thinking twice about him. TBF, despite a below par season he had a far bigger impact on Spurs than Dele did.... scored quite a few winners in tight games. The whole team looked tired and lethargic last season & outside of the CL run our football wasn't great. This summer is massive for spurs not only re new signings but for players to get rest having played pretty much non stop for 2/3 years, get a proper pre season (BTW why is Dele is still facking about in the Med) & starting the year in our new home.
I can see Levy pricing Eriksen out of a move this summer then trying to get him to sign on the lowest wage he can get away with.... Its a risky strategy if the likes of Pogba, Neymar, Coutinho all move this summer and a guy like David Silva leaves City next year.... Eriksen could be set for massive pay day as a free agent, esp if RM free up some squad space by then

Then Its down to Levy to lower the asking Price for Eriksen or do something about the wage structure that appears to apply to everyone ex Kane
I take it everyone will be happy if Toby are sold to Man united.

Nope but it wouldn't shock me if we did.... Stunned they haven't moved for Toby at 25mln and if Pogba goes we'll really see Eriksen for what he is after all that "fresh challenge" bollix

If either of them go to a domestic rival I will be furious.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
why wouldn't Toby go to United for 200K+ week for a nice 3 year contract before he heads to China for his retirement package. He'd be guaranteed to start, would make them better and the 25mln is pocket change for them
