100m is way way over the top, he is a good player but not at that price or even near in the last year of his contract. Only United are in the market and even Ed isn't that daft. Oh...…...

To be fair he stated quite clearly that he would be happy to stay at the club so if nobody comes in for him so I don't think there will be a problem to worry about.

Quick reminder of what he said:

“It all depends on Daniel Levy and there has to be another club too. Or I will sit down myself at the table and negotiate a new contract. You can’t set a date yourself. There aren’t many boxes that Tottenham don’t tick so if I have to move away, it would have to be a step up.”

Eriksen was asked whether he would seek to run down his contract. “That is difficult to say,” he replied. “It depends on the possibilities. If there are no exciting offers why shouldn’t I stay at Tottenham? If I then sign a new contract depends on the conditions.”

i actually think i want him to go. it will just linger and delay our transfer activity. if he doesn't wanna be here i can see him coasting all season trying to avoid injury, and then leaving on a free so we don't even get anything for him.

i would listen to any bids from abroad, and reinvest the funds PROPERLY

not just that,

but I could also envisage him picking up loadsa little convenient injuries here or there breaking up his season, which he has not had before

I'm 100% sure he won't be 100% committed

Maybe he's had no bids because clubs are put off with having to deal with Levy and knowing there will be an unrealistic valuation for a player with 1 year left on his contract?

Maybe it's because they know he has 1 year left and can afford to wait?

Maybe they've been put off by his failure to deliver in the CL final?

I still expect him to leave but if he stays I believe he'll be professional. It will suck that we'll probably lose him for nothing next summer although we'll have to accept it and if we actually win something it will soften the blow.

that was really poor from eriksen. he was facking shiiiit on the biggest club stage in the world. that might have swayed a few of europes elite. if he bossed the cup final, won us the game, i am virtually certain he would currently be agreeing personal terms with a juve or a real, or maybe a PSG.

Only Levy would demand 100mln for a player he pays 75K a week to with 1 year left on his contract knowing the proceeds of that sale will help to shape the squad... No wonder Poch gets frustrated !... I fear another deadline day massacre ahead

There'd be more interest in him for sure.

I would say generally speaking, he goes missing a lot in the really big games.

who said he is valuing him at 100m. we all know that with 1 year left and no intention to re-sign, levy would sell for much much less than that...............?

sounds like some typical anti levy bollox if you ask me

Bound to be some late action going on for us. Might be nice for the drama but I'd rather we just got things done early doors, and so would Poch.

Don't think its a stretch to suggest Levy overvalues everything to tries and get every last penny... sometimes to detriment of the football side of things Its why we still have players we need to get rid of, Its why the squad depth and quality isn't good enough, Its probably why the best footy stadium in the world still doesn't have its corporate name. I gave Levy the credit he deserved for NDombele but there are times his behavior hurts as much as it helps during transfer windows

I was really disappointed with both Alli & Eriksen in the CL Final they had a World stage and they were both Shiite in my humble opinion and what made it far worse we had Moura on the bench !!
