.....allegedly. left the Huddersfield training camp early. Only speculation he's signing for us. Got to say while I'm delighted we're getting a RB he's slightly underwhelming. He's barely played last 2 seasons and according to the Huddersfield fans they dont rate him. Will be given a chance by me though but cant help but think we missed a trick with Stacey 🙄
We probably need more than one RB, he may be brought in as a squad player and insurance in case we fail to get our top target.
Or maybe they think he's got what we need and are happy with Ralston as back up.

You could easily argue Smith despite not playing as much lately has far higher pedigree. Stacey I believe is quite a bit higher priced too. Smith is the only one I've seen play mind and even then it wasn't much

Dont see Ralston as back up though because I think after playing the last 2 friendlies he was expecting to be starting last night and didnt. That shows you how much Lenny trusts him.....which I kind of agree with. Cant imagine us getting 2 RBs though......FFS we've been waiting for one for nearly 2 years now 🤣

If I'm being honest I'm surprised you're going for him, but he's not the worst right back in the world either. Had an absolutely outstanding season for us in the Championship the year we got promoted, and deservedly made the team of the year. Couldn't take that form into the Premier League though, and was in and out of the team.
He's nothing flashy though, just a hard worker. Definitely not someone who I'd think is at the kind of standard you'd need in Europe or anything. I'd think the more sensible thinking Huddersfield fans will thank him and wish him good luck. He's still the best right back we have at our club so ignore Twitter idiots.

Ajax do this well, because that’s their ethos, Celtic and rangers would be perfect clubs to try and pump money in that direction too..

Ajax do this well, because that’s their ethos, Celtic and rangers would be perfect clubs to try and pump money in that direction too..

Ajax normally don’t have that much more money than you, so I think to some degree you should be going for ofcourse the whole philosophy of footy etc and practicality is important, but as I’m at work with 1% left on my phone....

Agreed..but he needs to play now. Brendan needs to put him in that team and keep him there.
After 12 months in the premier he'll be unbelievable.
Punt the English Scott McKenna for top dollar, get Benkovic in the team and use the money wisely. Leicester could do very well.

Imagine....he could still be in Scotland struggling to sign a RB or a boy from Motherwell when he has to put up with being able to spend £40m on one player at Leicester.
