The Kaiser Chiefs boss!.
Oh, and just to upset a few, Becchio!.
But for injuries I thought Paddy Kisnorbo could have been a great player for us.
But because of those goals Tony Yeboah.
I had Lorimer, Currie and Yaboah on my profile a while back!..(long time ago!)
3 off my favorites!..
Kisnorbo could have been?....he was, but like you say injuries stopped him going further!..
It's true Jansson had a bond with the fans but a lot of the fist pumping etc. was for show.
Smith, another downed by many here!..
I liked him a lot!..

Think the cult heroes tend not to be the great players ie. Ian Baird, in recent times would certainly say Andrew Hughes was a cult hero,
Personally thought Jason Crowe was ok, suffered with injury at Leeds,
Yeah don't think Crowe is the epitome of poor players that we have had at the club.
I think Becchio and Naylor both got the club. Kisnorbo is another good shout.
A word also for Liam Cooper for me. Maybe not as visable as Jansson was, but a model professional and, imo, a great captain.

Not sure you understand what cult hero is.
Because none of them were.
We’ve had some cult villains as well;
Kevin nicholls
Harry Kewell
Ken Bates
Peter Ridsdale
Cult heroes for me
Carl Shutt
Yeboah
Maybe Beckford
Maybe hughed
Think people aren’t understanding cult hero heee
Becchio was
Naylor wasn’t
Kisnbro maybe
Cooper deffo isn’t
Crowe wasn’t
Two for people to decide
Kamara
Haddock
Some great calls and some great players but for me the one cult hero that stood out - even though he wasn’t the best player by a long way - was Vinnie Jones.
Good article, then you mentioned Berardi
What a waste of time as a footballer.
Fans have gone soft these days.

It's an entirely subjective thing, no?
Yes to a degree
Cooper deffo isn’t one
Crowe and naylor weren’t that loved either
I don't think anyone saying that Crowe was.
Naylor was very popular in my peer group at the time. Hence I would label him a cult hero. We will have different ones, because we have watched Leeds at different times
I certainly wasn’t putting Crowe up for cult hero status just saw the name and commented I thought he was ok, regarding Haddock I think he’s probably a bit better than the players we are talking about for cult heroes, remember Bobby Davison saying if he had Mels confidence he would have played for England, a good thread for debate though,
Cannot stand Chris Kamara, change the "l" in cult to an "n" and you are spot on Wakey. Cannot stand him.
Jannson was on his way but he's dead to me now.
Batty is a true cult hero.

Agreed 👍
Lucas Radebe has cult status I think with many in the ground/fans in general.
Something extremely likeable about that guy. Good player for us too.
Why you say that about kamara
