Not that I watched the game so I can’t comment about today, but I think there’s a decent player hidden inside there somewhere. He seems to be a confidence player, and right now he has none. He started off like this for AC Milan too, but once he gained confidence he was one of their best players. It’s difficult to imagine on these kinda of showings though. I doubt Lampard has enough patience to give him time to regain his mojo. Who knows how long that could be.

Morata doesn't come close.
Bakayoko is truly awful!
He was a good player at Monaco in Champions league. I remember a game v Man City when he looked very dominant in midfield. "Big-money signing John Stones struggled again and Monaco's winning goal epitomised the fragility of the visitors' defensive backline, as the impressive Bakayoko was allowed a free header eight yards from goal". I agree there is a player in him but I doubt we'll get it out. Shame as we could use his height in our team if he gave us his Monaco form

I agree Bov. I was really hoping that he would find his old form, as we could really do with a physical presence in midfield - especially now that RLC is out. Kante, Jorginho, Kovacic, Mount are all small slight players. Even Drinkwater. Barkley is our biggest midfield player until RLC returns.

dont really see apart from the drugs stuff what Mutu did wrong
I think a lot of us on here thought Bakayoko was shet even at Monaco. I was totally against the signing. Bernardo Silva was the standout player and City snapped him up before the transfer window opened. Fabinho looked a lot better as well. Feck knows what our scouts saw in him.
