Given the shambolic state we are in, and the woes of the transfer window thus far, I am still quite pessimistic about us landing Tierney. However, if we could get it done, it would give the fans a lot more positivity, as a lot of us feel so disillusioned with Arsenal right now.
Rumors have it that the bid is £20m + £5m in add-ons. IF it does get accepted, what can we expect from him? And what are his main weaknesses?
I've had to watch Monreal and Kolasinac the last two years and I am sick of the pair of them!

You will be getting the steal of the century for £25m. A fully fit Tierney is on a par with Andy Robertson. If he plays in the EPL then he will become the best full back in the U.K. if not Europe. He is that good.

If we do get him, then I hope you're right because LB is a real problem position for us. Monreal was good for a while, but he's 33 now and has lost his sharpness. While Kolasinac, though sometimes has his uses in an attacking sense, cannot defend to save his life.
A player like Tierney would help us massively.

I won't begrudge him a move but it certainly weakens us in defence, so from a selfish fan pov I hope he stays. We have boli in but it remains to be seen how that move goes. Either way if we lose KT we are lot weaker in the LB and still very weak in the RB positions ☹
