Before the series began Roy said in interview that hea was waiting for the ball to come to him but it's clear he's not. His bat is miles in front of his legs and his eyeline is about 2 feet behind the ball. His chances of being a good batter against the swing ball are highly limited.

The 2 bowling displays and how we limited their batsmen makes our 1st innings batting look like the biggest joke and pathetic effort every under must win circumstances in a good position.

Despite being skittled for 67 we are chasing a total that isnt even that big, obviously not reachable but the conditions for batting are good, england are just a let down.

Every english cricket fan is in despair so much work to do with this test side. Embarrassing and a mess. This is the worst england batting performance I've seen in my life time in a series. When you consider the last few years that really is something.

The attitude is just wrong. And that starts with the absolute piiiss-take of a coach. I just have so much utter disdain for Trevor Bayliss. Stealing a living is the understatement of the century. The guy is an absolute facking charlatan. Disgraceful.

Thing is, you know they'll make excuses and pick mostly the same side for the 4th test. But the scale and nature of this defeat... There is no excuse for giving this shower another go. The serial failures need to go. When the Ashes are already gone, there's no point sticking with the ones who have let us down so many times. Give some new talent a go for two tests. What is there to lose?
