Pathetic really. That 1st innings topped any bottle job of a batting performance I've ever seen considering the circumstances. All we needed was 100 odd I reckon we will be all out for roughly 100 short of the target

If (IF) England were to somehow manage this, you'd have to back them for the series with the momentum they'd gain.

Worth bearing in mind all 3 totals have been sheite in the grand scheme of test cricket. It's not like Aus have scored loads.

Remember as well, Root's conversion rate is atrocious.

And in many ways, winning this would be the worst scenario for the long term since it would paper over the massive cracks.
