Good luck pal. Of all the counties we could be in this position against, I'm glad it's Somerset. It was pretty gutting for you with that contrived result which won the title for Middlesex 3 years ago.

It's a massive shame that this game looks like it will be severely hampered by the weather. I think Ten Doeschate will bowl first to make it more difficult for you guys to take 20 wickets if time is lost.

Yep, looks like we obviously wanted a bat as presumably it's going to be a wicket that deteriorates quickly.

We've brought Aron Nijjar in for Aaron Beard which is a asking a lot. Whilst he is a spinner, he's got very little experience although did pretty well on Saturday in the T20 blast, especially in the semi.

Surprised Harmer didn't open the bowling as I imagine Leach will bowl with the new ball for you.
