No it wasn't. His name suggests he could be from anywhere like England, America, France, the Carribean, the Netherlands, Belgium, France or an African country.
Maybe you need to look at yourself for having issues if the guy being African was your first thought.

I literally said you wouldn’t get offended by that, it’s just a bit of a blunt somewhat ignorant thing to say that doesn’t really serve any positive purpose.

Maybe. I’m simply saying I think his point was misunderstood by some - why he made it isn’t what I’m questioning.
Again, I’m not defending him or agreeing with the point (I think) he was making. If he were better at explaining when people have misinterpreted him, he would have fewer arguments.

There is no point telling me that nobody mentioned Africans because I know this. My point is that HE clearly thought that was the case. Because he didn’t make clear why he did so, his point got lost.

My last post wasn’t even nine full lines long. You’ve quoted three and then presumably didn’t read the rest, which deals in the plainest English (with even some capital letters for emphasis and clarity) with the points in your response.
And the word “infer” - it doesn’t mean the same thing as “imply”. Twice now you’ve either used or interpreted it that way. Check the word online, look at where you and I have used it here and you will see what I mean.
