If it's going to happen I just wish they'd get on with it.

It's plain that AR doesn't have a "magic money tree" nor much of an idea of how to effectively run a football club. I'm not convinced about the bleating regarding FFP either.

Until someone comes in who can properly invest in the first team squad, we will continue to struggle. AR can't do it on the cheap, constantly watching the purse strings.

Knowing our luck, if it does happen it will be after the window slams shut when it's too late to bring in the players needed to make a decent fist of promotion.

It's a never-ending saga with this club.

The problem is, as we have all known.

The team doesn't need PROPER investment to the tune of £30-40m.

We are talking a few sensible quality buys (3 minimum) and to not sell anyone.

I think I saw that Helander (Swedish CB) went to Rangers for £3m.

6ft4" 10 Caps for Sweden in the past 2 years.

We keep missing out on what look like decent buys.

Any new investor would surely want to bring their own DoF with them, then we are at the risk of them being any good (like we are with Orta)

Rangers are switched on. Kent, Defoe, Arfield all shrewd signings since Gerrard took over.

"The idea is to widen their circle".
Oh dear, it sounds as though we're about to get shafted again.
