Would agree. Delph is a good, solid midfielder and has been useful at times for City. Good buy for Everton.

I think it’s a good deal for both. Given his injury record and it being the last year of his contract, I don’t think we could have expected to receive more than that. If he stays fit, then Everton have got themselves a really good player that has great value off the pitch as well.

I wish him all the best, his contribution in the centurion season was pivotal at times.

I looked at that and thought Everton had done pretty well in this ludicrous market. When you consider they've just signed an experienced England midfielder and Tyrone Mings has just gone for £20m! We even managed to get £12.5m for our 3rd choice keeper last year who is yet to play a game for Leicester.

Perhaps City let him go cheap because they knew he was after 1st team football and wanted to facilitate that; if so then absolutely fair play to them. It's not an impressive fee though imo.

Didn't realise he was into the last year of his contract - makes more sense now.

Always comes across really well in interview and a good pro by all accounts.

There are still cheaper moves to be made even in the current climate. Getting him for 8m was good business to begin with, making a small return is as good as we could of hoped for I think at this stage.

Great season at LB two years ago, wish him the best.

Good deal all round. Zinchenko has cemented his position ahead of him, Angelino back after a good year at PSV so no real room for him. With Douglas Luiz leaving too that's £20m plus back in the kitty.
