Slipknot are decen. I'm not really into metal as much as I used too but still admire Slipknot

Growing up in the seventies I was not into Iron maiden or Saxon or the likes as Hendrix and Floyd were cooler....

But thirty odd years later I discovered black or thrash metal....and inbetween I was a clubber and Madchester music scene fan.

Hippy, dance then Slipknot.

My friend summoned him and was told to drink goats blood and give his soul to him or three of his relatives would die within a year.

He chose to ignore it but then two months later his aunt died.

Still he chose to ignore it then three months later his gran died. So obviously getting scared he sacrificed a goat and drank its blood.

Now he wears a trench coat and has pencil line moustache.

My mood and life situation took me to Sliopknot and SOAD and Deftones as I was not heavy metal.

Even As a biker in the eighties I thought the heavy metal stuff was a bit naff.
