Vydra isn't getting game time at Burnley for a reason. Not turned out to be a £10m player and doubt Burnley would sell him for less.

Il put this out there now, if we don’t go up, we’ll try and wriggle our if the Costa deal at end of season as we simply won’t have the money to pay for it.

Need a crystal ball about next season, just have no idea what we'll be like. Too much uncertainty about Roofe, Klich, etc. Losing 4-0 to a poor Man U team worries me. We just ca't score. Weak as water, weak as water as Mrs Slocombe would say in 'Are you being served' !!

I’d put a lot down to jet lag and manu having a far better quality squad.

Yorkie, I want Pablo nowhere near the wing. Centre AM only

I agree Jonty. Bit of a pointless game to be honest. Bit of a pointless trip too come to think of it. All that way and jet lag effects for 2 games.

Peak - Some players are good enough at Championship level and not PL level. If we have the money (We apparently had it for James) - We should go for him.

Ellando - I wouldn't read into this trip. We are missing half the team and the coach is only there for 5 minutes. We are playing a team who are top 6 PL and players worth 100m plus. I wouldn't be too concerned.

Jonty - Yeah agree on Costa.

If we don't go up this season you can all but guarantee Bielsa will go and the chairman will sell.

Yup said it a few weeks ago LIW, too many are expecting him to pull up trees in his 1st season.

Although I think Harrison will surprise many this season. Also expect Roofe to kick on

Yup absolute ballox

LIW - I know what you mean.

Its probably because there are very few/expectant signings we have made in recent years who have ever been a success.

From the start of last season we have lost Pontus and Saiz and gained White and Costa, doesn’t seem to me that we have improved the squad, one or two youngsters might step up but to me we need a CB and number ten, people around the club tell me AR puts all his faith in Bielsa but he can only do so much, I always say let’s wait until the season starts to see where we are but I’m not hopeful of any more new faces arriving,

A lot of kids on social media playing the ''we we're missing half our squad card" But really, we were missing only 3 key players in Costa, Klich and Ayling. It was still our best 2 strikers, best player, best keeper, left back, centre back and DM.

The jetlag probably played a key part, but I don't think we need to panic yet. We do need 2/3 signings though.

Kamara, Harrison will surprise?
Will he actually deliver the end product?
Looks tidy enough , delivers next to nothing.
I hope you are right.
Unfortunately I’m usually right.

Something isn’t quite right.

Signed on loan but then joins for reported £15m, four year deal.

Always wary of players, who have earned a shed load, career stalls ( a lot of wolves fans say confidence had gone ??) then you sign them on huge long term deal.

And don’t get me wrong, I like the player and hope he comes good.

Just got a nagging feeling about the whole deal

I checked on the contract, it’s obligatory that we purchase at end of season, it’s a really stupid commitment to make, someone is really gambling with our future.

The central defence area worries me. We needed extra in there. We have lost a decent cb and replaced him with an unknown. We are relying on berardi as cover!!

Bamford strongly believes that the team will be better next year, having gotten used to Bielsa’s methods and knowing exactly what he wants from the team.

There will be no deviating from what supporters became accustomed to last season - it will be more of Bielsa's trademark high-octane style of football going forward, the 25-year-old confirmed.

“If you look at it, that was our first year getting used to the style of play, the high intensity, the constant pressing,” he continued.

“He’ll admit that he demands a lot of his players, but if you think of it that way, the second year we’ll be more acclimatised so we should be able to do it for longer.

'You believe in everything he does'
“Keeping it up is the right way to go, we shouldn’t change our style just because we fell at the last hurdle - we learn from it, but you stay true to your identity.

“When you’ve got a coach with such a big character and name, then immediately you show respect, you believe in everything he does and I think you can see on the pitch everyone wears their heart on the sleeve for him.”
