Decent performance by a team with really only 4 first team starters in it.

Hastie well out his depth at this stage. If Kent comes back Hastie will deffo go on loan. He was trying far too hard and nothing came off for him.

Stewart brings something different to the squad for me. He is a crafty player in and around the box who might help open up stubborn defences. Won’t be a regular.

Aribo is class.absolute steal for £300k - looks like he has the lot really.

Arfield was brilliant when he came on. Looks like he is ready to pick up where he left off.

They were poor but we did a professional job👍

I was impressed with Stewart. I thought he grafted away and had some clever moments, especially the flick for Defoe to score.

Greg Stewart was good. Put everything into it all over the pitch.

Arfield made a huge difference when he came on. He’s looking really good already. Some of the interplay up front was excellent.

Hastie looked a bit shell shocked and tried too hard. Plenty of time for him though. Thought McPake looked better.

Alfie and Defoe both looked like class acts tonight.

Tbf the opposition was scheidt but good signs.
