I've got no idea if Ampadu is the next Tomori, or the next useless, coked-up Livermore, but if cleverer folk than me wanted Ampadu, and we lost out, it doesn't bode well. Like your formation, BTW, Desi - I'd kind of given up on TL, but if those brief flashes of technical excellence amount to anything, I think it will be under Cocu. If this guy can't coach some consistency out of him, though, it's cheerio.

Leipzig pay big money, didn't they pay a king's ransom for Oliver Burke. They have millions from Red Bull, why do people buy that overpriced gnat's pi$$? If they wanted Ampadu then they had the bargaining chip, re lots of Euros.

I think if a club taking a player on loan can offer Champions League football than a Championship club is going to struggle to compete in getting him on loan.

Also if players like Tomori and Mount are going to get game time at Chelsea I very much doubt Wilson would want to return to Derby. He'd want to push himself to the next level ( should he be ambitious) and look for playing opportunities at a higher level. If a German, Spanish or Italian club comes for him he'd want to take the opportunity.

It's time to find the lower league gems in the UK and overseas with a blend of possibly 3 experienced professionals.

Shameless liar, serial adulterer and all round incompetent voted by a few dinosaurs to be our Prime Minister. May they hang their heads in shame but not having a conscience I doubt they will.

............. he also voted for May's "vassal state..! (his own words) Brexit bill when she promised to resign, that tells you all you need to know.

Have we ever in the history of mankind ever been "led" by such a bunch of nincompoops?

Yes, when hereditary monarchs ruled the globe.

Whoever ruled was not as bad as this ill-bred and completely incompetent buffoon. The trouble is he is following on from another incompetent and another before that who had such a mental incapacity to let Nigel Farage lead him by the nose into holding that hugely damaging referendum. The effects of these things have a tendency to accumulate so that they have totally banjaxed our nation. A feat that not even Hitler could achieve.

If only we could have Gordon Brown back.

Cameron promised a referendum on the basis that he thought he would still be in a coalition with the Lib Dems who would veto it. Trouble is he managed a majority. He then thought he would win and Boris wrote the day before he joined the Brexit camp that he wanted to see Brexit crushed like a toad under the harrow. No one was led by Farage, it was just Cameron and Boris playing politics.

Since we haven't left the EU yet and Boris was only voted in this afternoon, maybe we could wait and see if things turn out better than some of you think.

If adultery was a ban on being a leader, FDR, JFK, Clintstone, Eisenhower and a few more wouldn't have been POTUS. Then we've got Heath and Brown's dalliances and there was Wilson and Marcia, Blair and Wendy, not to mention Lloyd George. Corbyn married 3 times and Dianne Abbott's little trip with him to East Germany (when the wall was still there).

Whatever happens Boris will be better than the useless May.

"Whatever happens Boris will be better than the useless May."

His previous achievements don't indicate this. What about him being a serial liar much in the same way that fat, over privileged idiot with the ridiculous hair style across the pond is. I can't recall two men who ever lied so consistently. That Carl Beech bloke is a fantasist and a liar and was convicted, Boris is the same and made Prime Minister.

Spart I agree with you, Ramdini and Spart over football. I have a different view to you 3 on politics, but I don't want to fall out over it on a football forum. None of us will change our minds, I always knew May was useless.

Boris was a very good mayor of London and I hope he does as well as PM. It is in none of our interests for the country to go to the wall, we are doing remarkably well at the moment when nothing seems to happen. I've always thought that the politicians mess things up with their interfering.

Looks like we've missed out on Tomori. Pity, I liked him.

Give Johnson a few weeks and you can have two for the price of one Baz.

VC, you are genuinely the first person I "know" to not detest Johnson!

You need to get out more, you Liverpool lot don't like anyone.

In my local he is very popular, give him a chance FFS. You might be wrong.

Has Lawrence gone to Real Madrid for £50 million to replace Bale yet?

Says Boris.

Lost £40M on a bridge that was never built. Bought water canon second hand, never used and sold for scrap for £9000. Lost millions on the London Stadium. Got rid of bendy buses and replaced them with extremely expensive hybrid route masters. His claims about lowering crime and increasing house building were just following the trend of his predecessor. the Olympics were brought to London by Labour and he just basked in the reflected glory.

He stitched up Nazrin Radcliffe when Foreign Secretary. Still uses language reminiscent of Victorian colonial administrators. This probably delights your locals VC10 but we don't have an empire and words like piccaninnies should be confined to the dustbin of history.
