I still don't think that's accurate.
What he did at Newcastle was phenomenal even if he didn't have a trophy to show for it. It's still a huge achievement to promote them and then keep them up for two consecutive seasons given their multifaceted issues.
That was more impressive than, say, his Coppa Italia win with Napoli, given the circumstances.

As regards Bruce...he's an awful manager and project ts nothing but failure to me...can't walk past a chippy without chowing down on a pie ad large chips. ..players don't respect him...Newcastle will fail this term
