Anyone whos happy we lost and hes stayed is a moron
We could of all fking retired had we won ......... i would of folded up my spurs shirts, put them in the loft and gone off to support womens netball

I think you (and Weare) are missing the point. Or at least missing my point!
I have no real problem with what he said about leaving if we won, leading up to (or immediately after) the final. But we're in pre-season now. I see no value (or point) in going over all of that again. He should just deflect any questions on it from journos, and move on.

He obviously didn't want to leave because by leaving out Moura at the expense of a half fit Kane or hopelessly out of form Son we were never going to win it.
