Not sure he's close to leaving tbo, he's happy to sit tight and take his obscene salary and fair play to him!

posted on 21/7/19

Zidane has said he'll be gone in 48 hours.

Bayern need wingers but probably can't afford him. China?

posted on 21/7/19

United, PSG, City are realistically only teams who can afford him. Might be one for PSG should they offload Neymar.

He would probably take a pay cut for Spurs.

Our top earners are barely on a third of what he gets paid.

I wouldn't give up them wages if it was me so fair play to him.

He is not coming to us for a number of reasons, the biggest being his wages - he would have to take about a 60% cut, and he is not gonna do that. Also I think he will want to go somewhere where he is guaranteed trophies.

Bayern seems obvious, and I wouldn’t rule out PSG or Juve either.

Bayern have no one earning more than 200k. Very much doubt they are in the frame.

Bale & cash for Neymar would be amazing to see.

Yep Bale's sitting pretty at the minute!

He won’t be taking a pay cut to go anywhere. Madrid will be topping up his salary wherever he goes just to get rid of him. He’s not walking away from 600k pow for a few more years to go to Spurs on 100k a week.

It's got to be China or PSG?

What fool throws away the ridiculous contract he is sitting on? Absolutely no need to move.

Only way this happens if the club is happy for him to move for free? His last 3 years will cost Real Madrid almost £100m

They could pay the Ribery and Robben wages to him.

Real are going to have to subsidise his wages wherever he goes, sounds like he’s moving on loan.

Yep and too bloody right, they offered him the extended deal and now are being very public about wanting rid. I hate the way they go about transfers. I hope Bale takes them to the cleaners and gets every last penny.

Agreed, I think the way he’s been treated there has been disgusting at times. Madrid are a ruthless club though and he’s not the first.

I agree with that but surely he wants to play football.

Zidane obviously has an issue with Bale, so from Bales perspective he knows if he wants to play football he needs to think about a solution and that might mean negotiating his way out of his contract.

Unless of course he wants to sit on the bench or train with the reserves for the next 3 years.

Zinedine Zidane: “Bale today did not play because he is very close to leave. We hope he leaves soon, if tomorrow it’d be better! We are working on his transfer to a new team”.

Absolutely disgraceful from Zizou that, imagine if that was Jose

Yeah read that, I work in HR and you just can’t say that in the workplace.

Imagine if Mourinho headbutted someone and then said this.

He'd be in jail

posted on 21/7/19

I can’t see how someone that has scored in two CL finals and over 100 goals from the club can warrant this sort of language.

For the club*

posted on 21/7/19

i wouldn't say he's been treated badly

with the transfer fee and wages come responsibilities at madrid

responsibilities that bale is not up to

at the start of last season, with ronaldo gone, bale had his chance to step up and become the main forward player at the club

he wasn't up to it. played terrible and took no leadership role on the pitch or in the dressing room

bale has been a good player for madrid coming off the bench in the 2nd half, exploiting the space left by tiring defenders with his pace

his effectiveness when starting matches, has always been limited for madrid

he lacks a bit of technical quality when he doesnt have space in front of him to run into...miss places alot of passes too

posted on 21/7/19

for a player with his supposed stature in the game, on that salary, performing to a high level consistently throughout a league season is expected

basing your success at the club, as being scoring a few goals in finals, doesnt really cut it for madrid fans tbh
