I’ve been saying we should sell him long before United put an offer in. Had a very average season, honestly ask most Leicester fans, Evans has been the better defender

I wish him and United the best - we will miss his ability on the ball and attacking set pieces but he’s made a lot of mistakes as well.

The world has gone mad, when we are the only club willing to offer up to £80 million for Spongebob Head.

He's not a bad defender, not a great defender. But certainly not an £80 million defender!

This is what pains me, when our stupid Ediot deems it to be worthy of

A) Pursuing an over valued player

B) Pursuing an over valued player.

Has second thoughts on other targets that are necessary.

He's a good player and adds qualities to our defence that we lack. But we need to shift one or two players from the defence now: Darmian, Rojo and if Tuanzebe is going to be in the squad, arguable one of Jones, Smalling or Bailly. We're overstocked in that area.

Not really. We’ve mugged them off with a world record fee for a defender we got from Hull City for £17m 2 years ago. I mean he’s an improvement on what they have but even sending Jonny Evans back would be an improvement on what they have

We need to ship out at least two of those defenders.

Could have got a much much better CB for 25m from Spurs. Whoever decided to go down the Maguire route needs their head looked at

Leicester to use the money to bring Bale in.

Agreed 2 from any of the bottom 5. Very little between them all

Another good signing.... People will baulk at the money, and of course it's madness. But he is a very good CB who will see this as his big move, not a stepping stone to Madrid or similar.

After seasons of mistakes... This summer feels like we are doing the right thing (that's not to say it's failsafe)
