BTW on Southampton's "legendary develop from within" conveyor belt ... Did the article mention that a large chunk of their monetary success has come from signing Celtic first team players then punting them on a year or two later? Wanyama, Fraser Forster (the giant, English goalie!), VVD ... oh, and Stu Armstrong will be next. It's worked very well, but hardly "home grown".
