Those are the standards at that club. He knew that going in. He has to meet them.

Real are a mess right now. Just goes to show even the best team in the world (which they undoubtedly were this time last year) can fall apart because of one player leaving.

There's irony here in the sense our fans will have to restrain themselves from comparing CHO to Hazard this season, Real fans HAVE to resist comparing Hazard to Ronaldo or he truly is doomed to fail.

Madrid fans already $lagging him off lol d!cks

But yeh dunno why he left really, even on his holidays he stopped off at a Chelsea youth foundation event and had a game of football with them all & was just taking about us and Pusilic the other day, not the upcoming season

Sure he’ll be fine but atm defo seems like he misses us a lot, he basically was Chelsea now he’s just another guy at Madrid

Not really surprised he came back overweight, he was a little on the heavy side more than once at Chelsea especially early in the season or following injury. I'm not sure what Madrid think they're getting, he's an amazing player and can change any game in the blink of an eye. He's dynamic and exciting but your not going to get it every minute of every game week in week out. There's plenty of time that he's quiet in games. As much as I love him, with his talent he should be at Messi levels by this stage of his career.

He'll be fine. Form is temporary but class is permanent.

I would have a little chuckle though (not at Hazard) but at Madrid if the move didn't work out to be good value for them. What's that saying be careful what you wish for.

Hazard has got a big job on his hands,RM have been a mess the last 3/4 years, they were lucky that they had Ronaldo papering over the cracks until last season.

I think that their will be more changes and more upheaval there in the near future,Haz is going to have his work cut out.

Fortunately for them Harle, Hazard is capable of carrying teams on his own at times as we know, but I am quite enjoying the chaos that is going on there at the moment, probably not being helped by the Bale situation lurking around in the background.

I do hope Bale facks them in the pooper though (Bogarde style) as I thought Zidane's comments about him as he's clearly trying to engineer him out the door, were crass, undignified and disrespectful for someone who's done well for Madrid over a period of years.

much as i dislike Real Madrid-they are like moss in a lawn they suck the life out of football any way they can, Barca are similar but with a little more earned respect. I would love to see Atleti få the resources the others have and clean house over there.

i wonder if it doesnt work out that people will shout about how Real Madrid are ruining players careers, that would be Courtois +Hazard from us and there are others.

Robben didn't do so well there either before his much more successful move to Bayern.

Maybe we can get Hazard in return for Pogba next summer when they again need a new shiny toy

Fitting you bring up Bale cos he's another PL import who'd proven he could carry a top 6 club on his back. Nothing is guaranteed at Real, as good as Hazard was for us he's gunna have to up his game (e.g. all this can't play false 9 stuff ain't gunna fly at Real).

Gunna be very interesting to see how Hazard deals with the pressure. He's always been lald back but truth be told he's always been 'the man' since a teenager. Being just a cog in the machine will be a very different experience for him.
