Same. Good luck BPF. Great piece of business.

Who replaces him? And what if Kiko goes also?

I wish him well.

3.5m for a lad whose out of contract next year and is a back up keeper is very good money considering we lost Pontus for only 1m more.

Get a loan back up keeper in.

Surely we have money to spend now. Yes we signed Costa and loans cost as well but thats Saiz, Jansson, Clarke, BPF, Wilks, Halme, Ekaban...That must be around (up to) 22m.

Even if Costa was (up to) 15m and say the loans were a few million...

That still leaves credit and we had 7 odd million for James in January.

I cannot help but feel there is a big signing due.

If not, its a disappointing window and further evidences the owner is skint.

Agreed. Let's see if we bring in quality where required.

No complaints on this.need to use the money and use it well.

As I said elsewhere, they'll buy any old crap off us. What are they thinking, and he wants first team football, not a chance.

Good luck to BPF - I felt he was doing fine until Kiko came in. I expect him to have a good career but not sure he will get much playing time at Burnley.

Good deal for Leeds but are we covered with Miazek, etc., or do we need to sign another GK now?

Need another experienced keeper.

So we're now stuck with a keeper that's played twice as much and let twice as many in!..

Great business, hopefully he has his wage cut to a little under what BPF was earning!..

Relieved to see the back of BPF.
Great price for a goalie who would struggle to catch a cold.

Kiko is superior in all departments so the right move imo. A bit cheap for a young keeper who has senior experience and international too

Wish we'd got Heaton.

Is that your personal opinion or based on a comparison of other young keeper sales?

Think we could have gotten more with the inflated transfer prices. Think 5-6 would have been the right price, he's 22 and should improve quite a bit.

Having just read that Blunts have signed McBurnie for £20m (yes...... twenty million quid!) I've given up trying to work out what is good or bad value. I wouldn't pay £2m for him.

Seems a good fee.

I like the look of our youth keepers but they are not enough, we need another keeper, as well as a defender.

We are days away from the start of the season, the team needs strengthening

From their perspective, maybe they know more about goalkeeping potential than you do.

From his perspective, I guess if you’re going to sit on a bench you might as well do it for 10x the money.

So, just your personal opinion then, no real basis?

I think Dyche is a better judge of players than I am. He's getting the best out of Wood and Taylor. 3.5 million for an international keeper is nothing. BPF will thrive at Burnley.

Burnley have a rep for having top keepers. Loads of Leeds fans wanted to sign Heaton.

Yet the guy who has those keepers, wants BPF. Suddenly he knows nothing.

Maybe he knows something about keepers.

I actually feel safer with youth keepers who ideal English like our defence as opposed to Casilla.

We’re not spending money on anyone especially now do close to the season start so, dies selling our nearly number 1 keeper now make us stronger or not, we all know the answer.

I challenge anyone to day that this was the sort of transfer window they were hoping for.
