Alright Leeds, good start, don't f it up this year, get it over the line and let's have you back in the prem - It's been too long
Did he need to?
He didn’t look like he was flagging and for a while after there goal we were under it.
Had they got a second then having our best, and most creative, player on the pitch would have been important

Was he knackered at the end of last season?
If we cannot hold a 3-0 lead with 15 minutes to go and the other 10 starters on the field then we have much bigger problems than Pablo can solve.
We have a week, well six days till the next game if he can’t manage that then he has issues.
Just don’t think that sub was needed to be fair.
Well, we will have to just disagree then.
On other players, I read:
“Sky said in regards to Costa not starting that Bielsa likes players to have 30 training sessions before he considers them up to speed.
They also said Harrison employed his own personal trainer in close season to remain fit, he wanted to come back to Leeds and Bielsa very impressed with his attitude”

No love for Forshaw today
One of his best games for me
----------------------------------------------------------------------
There’s never any love for foreshaw!
Thought he played well, but then i like him more than most seem to.
I thought everyone played well today but I can’t actually think of a single mistake Forshaw made today.
Guy had a fantastic game

There was something wrong with the structure of the team in the first half that allowed Bristol to raid down their right side 4 times. A full back cannot mark 2-3 players.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Agree to a point. there’s an element of communication/positioning thing. It always looks like the fullback’s fault if someone gets in behind... in this system they are permitted to bomb forward and others are expected to cover.
It’s the obvious area to target us and teams did it all last year... but it was too easy today and it wasn’t necessarily weight of opposition numbers... sometimes just one guy making a run and no-one picking him up. I’d have to watch them again to have a view, but looked to me on more than one occasion that Douglas was in the vicinity but didn’t pick the run.
He also got beaten by his winger a few times today... struggles against pace. Did fine going forward I thought.
Bielsa replaced douglas with Alioski, then Alioski with Davis in a reshuffle so tried 3 full backs... obviously wasn’t happy with the position today.

His only mistake was he forgot to pack his shooting boots. Not actually sure he owns any actually, but yeh he was really good.

He needs consistency now not just having 1 great game in every 15 or so
Kiko is scary at times with his decision-making. I'm surprised nobody has reined that in for the new season after how last season ended.
The goal I think wasn't his fault though - the shot got a deflection off Phillips (I think) and Kiko was heading the wrong way so ended-up on his backside.
I can assure you that KC hasn’t changed.
Forshaw hasn’t got any shooting boots.
It a fan of Forshaws but credit where it’s due he did play well yesterday.
Will be interesting to see who starts LB next match, normally Bielsa doesn’t change the team.
Forshaw is a good player, a lot more consistent than
most...he can play passes short and long, no he's not a finisher.
Hernandez is more skilful than Forshaw, that's a given,
but even scoring that goal and making another, he does get caught in possession often, lots of his passing, intricate though it is, fails to find teammates.
In my opinion I don't think his build and style will last a
season, think he's prone to be injured.
Is Forshaw underestimated on this forum? Yes I think
so....is Hernandez overestimated, hmmmm Yes I think so.
Forshaw is a steady Eddie.
Not good enough for a promotion team.
Creativity a massive problem if you play him and KP in the same team.
Creativity starts in your own penalty area, through to
the halfway line, ends in the opposition area and you need the players to see that through.
Leeds need goals, lack of creativity wasn't the reason they didn't get promotion, Promotion.
