Strikes me more as a player who will get assist so I'll go 2 goals 5 assists

1 - About 15-20% id say

2 - between 2-4

3 - between 3-5

From what I seen in pre season his final ball isn't the best YET, and it will take time for him to get used to the Utd shirt, looked a little timid at times, though that pace is frightening!!

Depends on Sanchez. If he is a poor as last season expect to see James play a lot of games. If by some miracle he finds his old form then James will have a lighter role.

Interesting you all think he'll start so infrequently for us in the League?

What do we think for cup games?

To clarify - the first figure was how many games he starts.

Expecting the 8 goal contribution to be primarily when he comes on as a sub against tiring teams!

Big hopes for him, but he's more one for the future I would say. Can see him being an impact sub as he starts life at the club.

The blame will lie firmly at Diafol's door.

Think a lot of his assists will be cut backs across goal if our CF learns to make the right run, really need to utilise his pace and ability to get to the byline.

I don’t have high expectations. I think he’ll be used more as an impact sub than a start. And will help us more in winning the ball back, transitions and outballs on the counter than contributing goals and assists. He could potentially win us a few pens as well.

I think it depends largely on how Ole depends to set us up in the majority of games (if we’re playing with the diamond every other week, he won’t get a look in) and how he takes his chances when he gets them.

If we go 4-2-3-1, regardless of Ole’s expectations, we’re going to watch a lot of games in which we have fack all of the ball and are forced deep, which might actually suit him, because he has the potential to form part of a devastating counter attack.

I think that he will be used off the bench in the last 15-20 minutes when the game is stretched and fancy him to grab a few goals on the break.

Hasn't he been mainly used on our left this preseason or have I got that wrong? I haven't seen any preseason but I just can't see him taking our right side (not right now anyway).

He played on the left and right of the 4-2-3-1, and on the left side of midfield in the diamond (which was strange).

I think he'll play more than most on here think. Think he'll win a lot of free kicks etc.

I don't think he'll be spectacular yet but over the season I do expect that we'll be at our most effective when he's on the pitch.

In the games I saw him we looked far better when he played. He ran at the fullback at every opportunity.

We looked better when Gomes, Greenwood, James were on the pitch in place of Martial, Lingard and Mata.

This is because we stopped just turning back from goal and passing it inwards, we were much more inclined to try and get behind defences.

Thought we looked best when we played Greenwood, James and Martial up top.

Forget who against. Spurs I think?
