I work from home 2 days a week now mate which is good, gives me time with the wee one and it also keeps me sane as the commute can be draining.

I leave the house at 6am and don't get into the office until 8.30, that's on a good day.

I'm not sure about this mate but you could look at driving to Motherwell and a train from there....free parking within 5 mins walk from the station. Looks like quite a few do it.

If you time it right you can get the kings cross train...into waverley in 43 mins and less to haymarket I think.

I get the bus from Glasgow to Edinburgh mate. The trains are unreliable and cost £28 a day

If you stay in and around Glasgow City centre then it's not too bad.

But i literally live 2 mins from the Erskine bridge now so it's a jaunt in itself to get into Glasgow.

Only doing it 3 days a week helps though.

I keep getting jobs from recruiters in Edinburgh, a lot are the step up I want bu then I see it's in Edinburgh and I am already adding 3 hours to my work day. I don't mind if it's flexible and I can go early and leave early but it would need to be a decent pay rise to get me through there

i'm out towards johnston now, good for where i am just now but thats gna suck if i have to go to uni out there

I'm "working from home" today.

By that, I mean I woke up an hour ago and decided my bed is the best place for me right now. Just hope none of my colleagues realise my laptop is sitting in my drawers 😂
