I think there's still a big quality gap, but if Rangers can consistently beat the other teams it could well be close coz we all know the games between each other are rarely settled by just quality.

Interesting distinction you make there between a deliberate hand ball in point 2 and a clear handball in point 4.

Agree with your other points though.

Today was a clear indication of the effects of the Thurs-Sun games. Celtic cruised on Thursday and we were in a battle. Gerrard got his team selection wrong based on players that had played on Thursday imo. Celtic still clearly have the better squad but Rangers haven't turned into a bad team
