That’s as good as I’ve seen it since 2014 imo. We actually have a right back and 5 players who actually are specialists in their role!!! However our midfield options are poor, and our attack looks fast but lightweight.
Will be an interesting season, hope Ole gets the rub of the green as I like what he’s trying to create at the club.
People keep on saying our midfield is poor but but I think what we can start with is pretty good. It’s if we have an injury which is the real worry, especially to Pogba.
Always a tricky game against these lot. They often manage to get something against us.
Would love to say we can win like 2-0 or 3-0 but I think we’ll concede at least 1. We may not even win.
The midfield will be vital. And although we don’t have a midfield selection that we would have hoped for by the end of the transfer window. If McTominay plays then I think he will be a key player there.

Defence does look solid now. Gives us a platform on which to build.
I think we’ll play quite well but draw today. 1-1 probably.
Apart from City always the most tricky opponent in the league for us but the deciding factor could be Hazard he always turned our defence into nervous wrecks even when we were the better team like the cup final.
Think we are both unknown quantities this season, the game will tell us a lot about where we are.
why do people predict scores like 3-2? the chances of us scoring 3 any game are slim let alone against chelsea.
with our lightweight midfield and attack, most games this year will end up with us scoring 1 max.

Your back four is a real concern. I think you're over estimating the quality of the 2 players you've signed. And I'm sure you're over estimating the quality of the other two. 😂😂
The OT factor might be an issue today as since Ole got the job his results at OT have been very poor. Only two home wins and they were against Watford and West Ham and we were very very poor in those games. We almost seemed to play better away from home last season
Hopefully a win today gets a habit of making OT a fortress back on the agenda

As for today, one main thing that will give us the Fanbase true optimism, is Ole's philoshophy.
It's been missing since SAF. I was willing to accept a managers way as long as he was getting the results. We've had 2 massive names take charge of us. But for some reason couldn't implement their way.
The bad results will be easy to take if we see a vision, we'll just suck it up cos we'll know we're on the right road.
Magurie's 1st game? i'm just worried Matic is playing cos Kante is going to kill him. Unless he has been told to not take more than 3 touches. get it, release.
