I worry against Wolves. Their midfield is superb, can see them dominating ours in all honesty. We need to be tactically clever and not play into their hands. Even if it means dropping off 10-15 yards or so and let them come onto us
We need a hardworking AM in the mold of Eriksen imo

Dogba was tripe today cant understand why he wasnt sold unless nobody wanted him which is also very likely

It is true, in their defensive shape Pogba has lined up with Kante and Ndombele in a 4-2-3-1.
Pereira gave the ball away needlessly a few times.
Pogba trying his usual cruyff turns on the edge of the box and in the centre of the park then getting caught. You’d think he’d have learned by now ffs. But on the whole had a good game I thought.
McT. This kid. Great game. Plays with the passion and desire you want from everyone that pulls on the shirt. If he continues his development, there’s a future United captain there.
Atmosphere was great today, stadium didn’t rock like that at all last season.
We need to sign a defensive midfielder period. Matic will have to do until jan/summer. Any top 4 team will spank us if we play like that in the middle.

No; he was one of our worst players first half and didn’t get into the game until it opened up more.
Surprise, surprise he looked more dangerous when he switched with Rashford or came deep.
It was nice to see him score a striker’s goal, and he might change my mind yet, but I just can’t see him matching Rashford’s figures this season if he plays centrally, and he’ll frustrate the hell out of the midfield with his lack of movement across and in behind unless the coaching staff manage to do something about that.
Definitely a tongue in cheek article - Midfield was open and exposed for the first hour.
Very happy with the win, the three points, however the scoreline flatters us.
We're in the battle for fourth place, so I really hope that we address the midfield.

lol, i am on to you but cannot help but bite
-- i think fred is worse than djemba djemba and matic no longer has the legs to be effective
-- pereira is young enough to improve but needs to do so quickly. But I can only see him as understudy to pogba atm
-with the poor options we have and the transfer window closed I stated to pay attention to garner who I had been hearing a lot about before. And he looks really good, not sure if it is because I am desperate for a hero or he really is as good as i think he is.
In terms of the guy to control the midfield, calm things down and just exert authority, it is a shame we couldn't get Eriksen. Was never likely to happen, but his performance off the bench yesterday was superb, and Levy should be doing everything in his power to get him signed up for a few more years

It isn’t a 4-2-3-1. Mathis’s plays in midfield and does as much legwork in there as Pogba.
Whilst pogba can play a pass no one else can, he also gives a superb lord Lucan impression alarmingly regularly. Still, we’d be crazy to sell him with no hope of a replacement.
ODB that's the problem. It's not that Pogba is brilliant on a regular basis, it's just that we don't have anybody else who can be on any occasion
