Zidane could quit Real over Pogba

He’s going to line up with Bale or Navas in central midfield as a protest.

Zidane shouldn't be personally promising anything to Man Utd players, the daft bald thug. He'll soon be proving what we already know; that he's absolute poverty as a manager without Ronaldo bagging him 60 a season.

I feel this maybe Zidane's PR team lining up an excuse for him being booted out, if the season starts badly.

Obviously, even us United fans can comment on the dysfunctionality of Real Madrid's powerful presidency. But Lambeau is right that the head coach (if the story is true) has no place promising a player he'll be signed. He's been around football long enough to know that even if the chairman endorses the manager's wishlist, there are no guarantees.

This guy wont get another top job if he keeps walking away at the first knock back he gets.

Madrid's overall return of two victories, two stalemates and three defeats was a poor return in preseason and looks ominous for the season ahead. Despite the spending, their form seems not much different from last year.

Haven’t they spent around 250-300m already. Have no sympathy for him whatsoever and their spoilt awful fans who were chanting Mbappes name during Hazards reveal. Who the feck do they think they are. Ronaldo carried Zidane team during their 3 CL wins and now he is proving that he struggles without such great players in their prime

I had to read that sentence 3 times as I couldn't believe that's what he did.

This would also be classed as tapping up. Zidane already oversaw the club being banned from signing players after signing a host of foreign young players against the rules, including all of his sons.

Probably not during the middle of the season. We've shown some backing this summer as well for his 'next chapter'

I don't buy this from Spurs.

There was no next chapter, there was hole filling. and not the fun kind.

NDombele replaced Dembele's loss.
Lo Celso brought in on loan to cover any potential Eriksen move.
Trippier and Llorente lost.
Sessegnon added.

Next summer the potential bosman losses of Vertonghen and Alderweireld needing to be replaced will eat your budget up. If Eriksen isn't sold before money will be even tighter.

I want Spurs to do well but i think Levy has conned fans into thinking there has been improvement or investment fitting of CL finalists and the reality in my mind is they just plugged gaps.

Cue standard ‘Poch to Real’ rumours.

What is Spurs fans' issues with the Poch to Real rumours?

Of course Poch will be interested in managing Real Madrid some day and of course, if Real find themselves with no manager then they make enquiries.

Whether the timing is right is debatable.

Whether you like it or not is irrelevant.

It's logical and understandable that it is discussed.
