Scottish football isn't exactly thriving but in fairness, with the population of their country and the proximity to the Premier League, I'm not sure what people really expect.

The only reason people expect more, I think, is because of how big a club Celtic are.

You know their football knowledge about the game is crap when they rejected a player like the worldclass robbo when he was a youth player for some other shte players.

Scottish Football.

You're in my heart, you're in my soul
You'll be my breath should I grow old
You are my lover, you're my best friend
You're in my soul.

Just like you love your football.

Of course their league isn't great, but if you look the past 20-30 years the only player they've produced that might be considered top class is Andy Robertson.

For a nation that is so passionate about football that is ridiculous to be honest, even with them being a small country. There is definitely something fundamentally wrong with grassroots football there.

There have been a host of talented players that haven't fulfilled their potential also, moving too early to big clubs and leagues.

There was one that went to Sporting Lisbon, Ryan Gauld was it? Heard of a few others over the years but can't remember names.
