Agree Haymaker but would start Bamford, rather than Nketiah...
Just feel Bamford, despite missing those crucial chances vs Forrest, is in good form.. and I think he is due a hat full in a game at some point.
Wigan away would be better suited for Bamford
Fully expect the same team as Forest

Personally I think Bamford looks a little drained, and looks as though he’s got some problems psychologically. It’s like he’s approaching chances expecting to miss rather than expecting to score.
Think Nketiah had a good debut, would love to see him play with Pablo in the side.
Agree with that in fairness.. looks low on confidence in front of goal - the lob chance vs Forrest is a great example of that, did EVERYTHING right, superb control, brings it down, looks up, see's the keeper, lobs it wide..
the bar chance, again, the technique for strikers in that position is to hit it down, did everything right but it hit the bar..
but one game where he bags a couple, I think that all changes... defo a confidence player..
I'm not sure I'd drop him yet.. after two games, he's scored 1 (should of had more though)...
Seems to be nervous in front of our home crowd too.. away at Wigan could a perfect opportunity to put right some wrongs?

I really hope he does well and bags a load of goals, but I don’t think he quite suits our style of play.
I think as a defender you’d almost look forward to playing against him.
Fingers crossed for 3 points either way.
have to disagree there mate, those Forest defenders got well and truly done by Bamford..
Just low confidence finishing meant that they didn't lose the game heavily.

Which also means we didn’t win the game because of his finishing.
He’s a clever playe in the final third, but compromised outside of that. He has to be scoring to justify his place in the side, offers little else.
Let’s hope he bags a few Saturday.
I think Bamford has done good in the games he's had, he chases the ball more than he used to and when he gets it he holds on to it and brings our wide players into things!..
As for missed chances, that lob against Forest, think on, keeper coming out at him and getting the ball over him, it happens so quick accuracy isn't exactly the easiest thing to get!..
If he'd tried that same movement 10 times over he might have scored 7!..
He tried and the keeper did his job in putting him off, which is the keepers job!..
yep, means that too...
just think it would be a little harsh to drop him on game week 3..
yeah, a 4 goal Bamford haul on Saturday would be nice
Regardless, I'd be starting Costa as you suggest.. I have a feeling he's going to be the difference between 3rd and top 2 this season

Yeah perhaps he deserves a few games to really get going, but Nketiah is hot on his heels now and I’d definitely be bringing him on late in the game.
Costa is a class act, he’ll win us games this season.
Germany, despite my defence of Bamford... Haymaker makes good points.. you could make an argument either way for all 3 of the chance he missed.
Lob... did everything perfectly other than the finish.. yes, Keeper did well, but those sort of chances are scored from a confident forward.
Bar... brilliant technique, text book way to score a volley, on a another day, it goes into the top corner
the one in the first half, acute angle.. again, did so well to get their in the first place, but ultimately missed it...
2 games, 1 goal, 3 or 4 chances missed with an argument either side, so I don't think he should be anywhere close to the chop... but, as the games go by, the arguments / excuses as to why he missed them will start to wear thin...
then all of a sudden some folk are back to talking about Kinnear and Orta again
I think he's now had 2 tries at acute angles and missed both, but, it's an almost impossibility to score from those unless you get them with the keeper out of position!..
And like I said, with the lob, he might score 7 from 10, people should get their mates to play keeper and stop them trying the same lob!..
Going full speed one on one its not as easy as saying he should have got it!..
Be surprised if it’s not the same 11 who started v Forest,
Absolutely going to be the team that started last weekend, Forshaw is playing well acknowledged by many on here and most of the Leeds online press, so we drop him to make room for Costa and we drop our best striker in favour of an unknown quantity who has had only a few chances to train with the squad.
No way either is likely to happen.
I'd like to see Costa and Harrison both start, see how it goes attacking both wings together instead of just the left side!..
Maybe there's another reason Bamford ain't scoring enough, is he not right footed?..
At the moment most of our attacking is from the left when crosses from the right would be better for Bamford!..
Can't drop either Forshaw or Bamford. Forshaw wasn't brilliant against Forest. Bamford needs to keep starting the next few games. But, Nketiah should've put a big reminder in Bamford's head that he's being challenged.
When Ayling and Roberts get back, MB will have some team selection headaches to deal with.
"When Ayling and Roberts get back, MB will have some team selection headaches to deal with."
Exactly how it should be!..
indeed Germany... you would of thought Ayling walks into the team.. where as Roberts.. not sure where he'll play to be fair?
Bamford got about 5 good chances last game. Be silly to drop a striker causing that many problems for a defence for someone who has just made their debut with a couple of days of training. Nketiah looked promising but needs time to get used to the football.
Wigan will sit deep so I would probably go Bamford. Nketiah probably going to fare better against teams who.leave space in behind.
Can't possibly see any changes this weekend. We all know what Bielsa is like. He trusts the XI that he has started with in the last two league games and none of them have played that badly to warrant being dropped.
Forshaw is arguable playing his best football for a long time and many have acknowledged this. Looks to be getting himself into effective attacking positions and I think he will get better still. It's great to have a player like Jamie Shack snapping at his heels and fighting for that CM birth.
I think the closest to possibly being dropped would maybe be Douglas but I personally think he will improve and become an asset to this side.
I am looking forward to seeing Ayling back however I think Dallas has performed admirably so far and he will have a job on displacing him.
Roberts will add a lot of quality to this already top side. I can see him being utilised mainly from the bench due to his versatility. A lot of people wanted a No.10 in the summer to help Pablo - I think Bielsa maybe sees Roberts as his deputy. He has very good close control, runs at players, takes them on and has decent pace. He is only young and his ceiling height could be massive. If he can improve the technical side of his game (finishing, passing, crossing, vision etc) I could see him becoming a main player in this team. He can cover ST, LW and CAM so offers plenty of versatility from the bench.
In the case of Bamford. I can't say I'm his biggest fan. He is so frustrating to watch. I totally agree that he has looked better this season than last. He looks to be working harder and showed glimpses of tidy hold up/link up play. However, strikers will always be judged on goalscoring ability. It doesn't appear to me that Bamford is a natural finisher. Since being here he has missed some absolute bankers and to me that isn't good enough for a side trying to finish in top 2. He is capable of showing moments of magic but these are too far in between. I don't even believe it's a confidence issue as he's been here long enough and has scored goals, then next game he has gone on to miss further sitters. I really hope he proves me wrong and goes on to score 20+, but all I will say is that I am really glad we brought in Nketiah on deadline day just in case - I believe we're going to need him.
Overall I'm really positive about this season. We have started the season strongly IMO barring a missed opportunity last weekend. We have plenty of quality depth on most positions except CB - which is where I believe we will come unstuck if we lose White or Cooper for 8 weeks +. I just hope that when it comes to January, if we are aware we are lacking in a certain area, we don't mess about this time and we go and get our business over the line. I don't believe for one minute we don't have the funds to do this.
This season is made for us. We just need to go out there and get it done!!

He’s a holding midfielder that gives nothing in the last third.
If we continue down the same team we won’t score enough goals.
The make up of our squad is a more attacking brand is needed hoping we can score more than the opposition.
We aren’t going to keep many clean sheets.
I think Banford last season got about a 50% goal rate, a striker a goal or so every second game ain't at all bad!..
If he hadn't been out so long than he just might have matched Roofes tally or maybe even bettered it!..
