Exactly Lampard is not going to turn down an early chance for a management trophy. I'm expecting the likes of Kante, Giroud and Willian to start.

Neither the FA cup or the League cup are worthless trophies. Even teams that qualify for Europe only have four trophies to compete for, so that represents a half. If you don't qualify there are only three. And unless you are a top team and have a shot at the title, those are the only two.

Most 1st team hardly had a break over the summer and we got a long season which is why I would rest players

Frankly., .given the gulf in teams currently and the fact that you've had two days more rest - you should breeze this 3-0
Any less is unacceptable

It was Utd's cup final at the weekend. We will have many more big games this season so I can see us taking our foot off the gas.

Just dont see it tbh. Liverpool play like their on crack in europe at the best of times Just a better team, I just dont want us to rush back rudiger and kante, an injury to kante could derail our season before its began

If they’ve travelled to Istanbul and back they should play. Go strongest team possible. They’re hardly going to be rested travelling out there and back.

That’s a League Cup against League two opposition, and that Midfield would get mullered against any PL opposition.

I think Klopp will go a lot stronger than that, he’ll want to win it.
