Seeing so many of the old beeb ja site end up here has been great. loved the laugh on the old beeb site. Was gutted when we all found out it was closing. Remember hrj told me to migrate to here. Glad i did. And glad you're on here NJS.

I am sick and tired of people making excuses for Bamford. like 'he is a confidence player.' If he doesn't have the confidence, don't play him at no. 9.
If you were a defender, who would scare you the most, Bamford or Nketiah? We haven't seen much of Nketiah, but his positional and link-up play on his first appearance were pretty impressive. He should be on the pitch at Wigan.

Interesting about Bamford missing the lob.......Nkeetah missed a lob last night and not one person has mentioned it..... but then he’s ‘flavour of the month” and Bamford isn’t. 🤷‍♂️

Nketiah read the situation well to score. Would Bamford have been there for that cross? Also, with Helder in the side, we won't have to wait 40 games before we get a penalty. I am not excited about Pablo or Bamford taking spot kicks, but who else have we got?

Douglas, Klich.

One thing Bamford is good at is getting into the right place so personally I do believe he would have been at the end of that

99% of people slagging Bamford you can instantly tell they don’t have a clue what they’re talking about

gelderd, I read the other day (may have been Phil Hay on Athletic) that Bamford has been excellent at hold up play and passing, linking others this season.

I remember when we had Steve Morison. He'd be lauded for hold up play and passing/linking, but scored sod all. Would not be surprised if same champions of him are kicking Bamford in the crotch now.

Bamford's getting into position to score over two and a half (if that) games. Scored one beauty. Not worried about him. And I think Nketiah being there will help him more.

Bielsa, you're sick and tired of people making excuses for Bamford, others are sick and tired off the unnecessary slagging of Bamford!..

Good that there are people on both sides sick eh?..

And as for spot kicks, what has Pablo done wrong?..

If all the planets align and it is our time at last, then it's not beyond comprehension that an injury free Bamford ends up close to being player of the year - know its controversial but I for one feel he's got the quality if it all clicks into place.

Wilko, you you are under the influence of the dog stars, Gelderdius and Germanius. A trip to Wigan should sort you out.

No just remembering what Patrick can do from a few seasons back - when he is on song he is class no question.

And maybe someone should tune Bielsa's bell to the tune off Hell's Bells!..

Mind, that being from one of my favorite groups, I think Jingle Bells might be a lot better!..

The Bamford conundrum: a striker who simultaneously misses lots of clear cut chances but has really poor movement and never gets on the end of crosses.

Must be getting old - I could have sworn PB scored at Ashton Gate or was it just someone who looked like him?

Ah, must be age.

You're forgetting there has to be at least one player in the team each season who sections of fans feel they need to vent against. Thought process is if you abuse them enough, they play better.

So Bamford has poor movement and never gets on the end of things but also misses loads of sitters?

Which one is it??

Let’s not forget the fact that when said players leave the same people always call them a Judas and claim that somehow it’s the players fault for leaving, ala Wood

Becchio comes to mind!..

Ooopppss's, I'm not supposed to say that!.

"You had me at Hell's Bells, Germanius"

Jingle Bells, nah, I think that's about right!..

Yep Bamford is the latest scapegoat for a section of our fans to abuse. They just don't learn.

Lets not ignore the fact that, chances aside, Bamford has had two very good performances in which his work rate and all round play has been great.

Nope, we will just tear him to pieces and shatter every last bit of confidence he has.

Luckily, 99% of the fans who turn up to the ground have been supporting him so far

Yep, match on Saturday crowd were supporting him quite vocally - and quite rightly.

My guess is as a response to the haters ……..
