It will take a lot of time and patience. We are tring something completely new, tactics wise and
new manager wise.
Lamps is going to make a lot of mistakes over coming season as will the team
But few more 1st team players to come back yet, so its all good.
Really not worried at all.
I had a feeling your keeper might pull something out of the bag, he was not a bad keeper at West Ham
Happier with him than what we had in migs.

How will we ever replace him, I thought he was on something last night .
Ridiculous game for a player to come back so soon and play like that you can see how much we miss him when he's not there, but we need to get over that, he will be injured sometimes.
I was actually more pleased with Pulisic.
He has the makings of becoming a very big player for us.
We cause teams a few issues with him and Hudson Odoi

Yep Pulisic looks good too. Not surprised, I've always rated him. Does need to add more goals to his game though.
Cheers Bridge. The trophy doesn't actually mean a huge amount but after losing a shoot out to City it would have been tough to lose a second.
Good game that ebbed and flowed. Both teams had their chances but overall I think Chelsea were probably marginally the better side, albeit I think the equalising penalty was very generous.
Thought Pulisic looked good and Kante was everywhere. Get Rudiger back in there and Chelsea look a decent side.

He has started making bid decisions already and sticks with them, re Liuz, he in my opinions has been a loose canon for last 2 seasons and cost us quite a few games, but Lampard sees it and calls it and he's gone.
That fine by me. He will not get everything right, very young manager/coach , hate the word Coach but I digress.
Young manager = mistakes , but we have to temper that with patience, cannot say it enough

That game should of been played in summer. We have a game at 3pm Saturday and only got one day to prepare
played well, only caught the first half of the united game but thought you played well in that aswell (bar the defensive errors)

Yeah but that doesn't negate the original point - both teams have had an extra game to fit in at a point in the season when fitness is an issue.
As it happens I would have preferred Chelsea's schedule because 3 pts at the weekend is more important to me than the Super Cup but neither club has had the best preparation for the weekend.

We also played an extra 2 weeks after the season finished and our front 3 were all playing international football until 10 days ago. We have played way more than anyone so that 2 days is nothing
For a meaningless game it was quite entertaining well done both teams.
Compare utd v chelsea and lfc v chelsea.
A) pulisic. So much better than Barkley and gave real shape to Chelsea attack.
B) giroud, more able to hold up ball and compete.
C) Kante.
D) Kante.
E) Kante.
If Utd met the Chelsea we met they'd not have won that game 4-0. Oh zouma would still brain fart the game away but I think it's have been much closer.
Fair play to Utd for grinding them to paste second half though.
Chelsea to be there or thereabouts.
I'm seeing a dog fight If we can't improve coming. We should be able to but the fixture crunch before and after Christmas is scary. We look so tired now 1 game in!!
